Children's Probiotics

Hi, can I mix children's probiotics with warm liquids, like warm milk? I bought Primadophilus® Children, 5 oz Powder. Is just easier for my kid to drink it in the morning with his milk, but he likes his milk warm.

What can I do next?

I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to. I put yogurt in warm milk for my son, and I assume it's the same probiotic ingredients. I would warm the milk first though and then add it versus warming them together.

Better to take them warm then cold actually. So, no problem.

Is there a phone number on the powder can? I would call and ask the company that makes the product

We did it with breast milk and formula bottles. Your son is drinking his milk at 100 degrees of lower, so it is about the same as body temp.

Nope. Something about the warmth kills it. You will have to mix it with something cool or at least room temp. It even says so on the label.

when my daughter was on probiotics we put it in her morning and evening bottles and warmed just like we always do. There was nothing on the box or package that indicated otherwise and her dr. said to put it in a normal bottle.

I'm sure it will be fine.
