When my dd was that age, I gave her Animal Parade liquid vitamin. It was in a fruit/vegetable juice (almost like a syrup) which my dd liked. I would even mix in a little fish oil in with it.
Hi Moms:
Does anyone know of a good quality brand of children's multi vitamins for a 2.5 year old? Thanks!

We use Walmart brand (equate) gummy multi vitamins. Kids love them
Go to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's or any store of this kind, you will find there real vitamins without corn syrup (most of them have it!) and in a more natural state.

My kiddos like their Flintstone's vitamins. They make a "My First" Flintstone's vitamin that is for 2 and 3 yr olds (otherwise, you have to cut the regular Flintstone vitamins in half).
There are lots of vitamin options out there, and lots of varieties. The gummy vitamins seem to be big deal right now, but my kiddos won't eat the gummy ones (go figure...they love gummy worms and gummy bears, but won't eat gummy vitamins). :)
Mine takes liquid Poly-Vi Sol. (I don't know how it's spelled and fidn that hilarious. Excuse me as I burst into laughter!)
It tastes awful, but I hear that it goes down well in apple juice. My trooper just swallows his like a big boy, and I offer to let him chase it with something yummy.
we tried the gummies. my kid didn't like them. seems that dentists recommend against them as they can get stuck to the teeth.
good luck to you and yours,
F. B.
If you're looking for an all natural option, I give my kids (ages 4 and 7) Shakelee Incredivites. They love them (ask for them every morning) and they don't have any of the nasty chemicals or corn syrup or anything else bad in them. They can only be bought online. Fair warning - they are pricey, but in my opinion worth it. My kids rarely ever get sick, even when it seems as though there is an outbreak of other kids getting sick at their school or in our neighborhood. They've both been taking these since they were 2 years old.
My grand kids (3, 2, 1) all use a powdered nutritional supplement that our family has used for 20 yrs. keeps them healthy and is safe...comes in Chocolate or vanilla. What I love is that there are no warning labels like "Keep Out of the Reach of Children".
They are not sold in stores...these helped clear up my daughters eczema and kept my son off meds for ADD. Feel free to message me if you'd like some info.
Just a note that decades ago gummy medicines were banned, because kids thought they were fun and overdosed. I noticed this huge push recently to introduce gummies as fun (even for adults) and found this concerning.
Hi J.,
Avoid Flintstones! Or Walmart! Avoid All non-pharmaceutical grade vitamins. They actually cause problems. If you don't find a great vitamin, don't take any. I attached this article because it sums up my own personal research.

My family uses a pharmaceutical grade vitamin that not only does not create free radicals but is guaranteed to absorb.
Hope this helps!
