Stress will cause clentching, no question. It can lead to more problems like TMJD. You may even be doing it at night while sleeping and wont even know it. You can see a dentist and get a nightguard made, I have one and it helped out a lot!!! I didnt have anymore jaw pain and headaches, but if I get really stressed out I noticed myself clentching and then I can put in my nightguard, also called a splint.
