I think I would make up a grilled cheese with the hot dog bun and leave the slaw on the side ;) I do like coleslaw on a bbq sandwich though!
Mamas & Papas-
Cook out leftovers in the fridge and I'm thinking of having a cole slaw and cheese sandwich on a toasted hot dog bun. sound great or gross? what sort of cook out leftovers do you come up with?
Thanks,

My husband's favorite sandwich from a restaurant we frequent is called the "Pittsburgher" - it is corned beef, pastrami, cole slaw and a fried egg on a deli roll. Some people put the french fries on the sandwich as well.
I personally don't like it - but he loves it! If it works for you - GO FOR IT!! It's your taste buds and your stomach!
My youngest son loves mac and cheese with ketchup, mustard and BBQ sauce - again - personally don't like it - but it's his stomach and taste buds!

The "pittsburgher" described below was created by a restaurant call Primani Brothers in the Strip district in Pittsburgh. Yummy! We love those! You can get them in Erie, too, but of course no one is allowed to use the name Primani in the name, they've sent out cease and desist letters for that :)
Cheese and cole slaw? Hells yes!
Personally I'm a fan of wrapping anything in lettuce. I love potato salad that way.
I had some extra cole slaw mix the other day, I sauteed it up and mixed it with ramen noodles.
Sounds good to me - Bon Apetit!
