B.,
On March 7, 2008 I had my Tubal Ligation reversed by Dr. Berger in North Carolina. He is a very well known doctor and specializes in Tubal Reversals. HE IS AWESOME!!!! We are currently trying to conceive and hoping for the best. His website is :
http://www.tubal-reversal.net/
He has a message board that I believe that you can join where you are seeking insight for a reversal. There is so much positive testimony and support on the message boards from moms who have had TL. In addition, there is a syndrome that is not known to many and it is called Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome. Do a google and see if you, too, suffer from it. I had no idea that it even existed and now I know that I have been suffering for years and didn't even know it. In addition, Drs. are supposed to offer us counseling when we are considering a TL and none of us on the message boards ever received it. There is so much testimony from ladies who even conceived within the first month after TR. Don't get me wrong, it's not all a positive experience because with TR there is a higher risk for miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy. Take a look at Dr. Bergers site and if you have any questions give them a call. You can start by getting a copy of your post-op report from your TL and fax it or mail it to Dr. Berger for him to review and tell you if you would be a candidate for TR. Join the message board too for a lot of answers to your questions. The cost for TR is a lot cheaper than IVF (roughly $5900 and there is financing available if you qualify and plus Dr. Berger has a payment plan that has to be paid in full before the surgery, but it is an option). Best of luck in your TR journey.

I don't know about in-vitro after tubal ligation, but I do know about in-vitro. I've done it twice - successfully. I went to a wonderful clinic here in Salt Lake City. They have since moved to Sandy. They are very professional and give you a lot of TLC. It is the Reproductive Care Center and their phone number is ###-###-####. Call and ask to talk to Heather. She is a nurse that has done in-vitro herself and has worked at this clinic for several years. She really knows her stuff and can answer some questions for you. You can also ask for a complimentary consultation with one of the doctors. Both James Heiner and Keith Blauer are great. I have heard that they have taken on another partner, but I don't know anything about him or her. Good luck & if you have any questions for me, feel free to contact me.
