Ok I am not a couponer either...in fact I have used less then 5 in my life. BUT I just saw commercials for a new show on TLC I believe, It's called extreme couponing. It's about people who use coupons for everything. You might want to check it out...although I know this wont help you right now. LOL.
My sis in law gets all her coupons through the advertisements that come once a week/every other day. She also knows the stores that will accept expired date coupons...bed, bath and beyond is one. I think she just learned over a number of years of doing it.

Having a good organizational system is huge. I've just started couponing a few month ago. It definitely saves money, but takes time.
Have you checked into couponing sites? two that I like are coupondivas (website and facebook) and hip2save....coupondivas links to 3 coupon sites for groceries. You may have to download the coupon printer once, but then it is easy to print. If you shop at Target alot, especially if your target carries groceries go to target.com and enter coupons in the search then select the ones you will use (usually over 130 options).
Target will let you use target coupons and manufact. coupons on same item, riteaid is the same.

Best places is the paper ask around your friends if you can have their ads,go directly to the website you buy products from get signed up for free samples & coupons they will e-mail them or mail them directly to you.Buy the least expensive printer ink print in black only adjust your settings to print in gray scale that way you don't go printing mad crazy & use all your ink there is no need to print in color.

I can't think of any of the names right now, but there are sites that do the couponing for you (cutting them out, etc.) and then will mail them to you for a nominal fee. The last time I did that, I spent $5 and saved over $40. And I was able to request only coupons that I could actually or would use. It saved time because I didn't have to sort through everything. Sorry I can't remember the site but you'll probably find similar stuff if you google it.

Also, just to let you know, not all stores will accept printed coupons anymore. There are several in my area. There are too many "knockoffs" out there. I don't do a lot of couponing just because i don't have regular access to the adds for stuff I can actually buy. The ones I use are ones I either find in the store (sometimes display adds or some kind soul left one near the intended item) or I get one on my grocery receipt. I get that a lot at Safeway and I usually use about half of them.

I was excited today because I found a $2 off coupon for the super expensive cough syrup I have to buy my son because he can't have any of the additives, dye's, synthetic flavorings etc. found in the more generic cough syrups. So I only had to spend $20 instead of $22. :) That's something else I'm discriminating about. I'll often only utilize a coupon if it's at least $0.50 c off, but more often at least $1 off one item. Unless you often buy multiples of a certain item, buying 4 to save $0.25 really doesn't save you anything. Unless they're already on sale. If they are, then go for it.

A few days ago, I took advantage of Safeway's clearance shelves. I needed batteries and managed to find two 8 packs, both marked 50% off and one had a $1 off coupon attached. So I got twice as much for even less than if I'd bought the eight pack I'd planned on that I'd already gotten at the front of the store. I'm so thankful I've gotten in the habit of checking that shelf every time I'm in the store because I never know what I'm going to find. And once, again at Safeway, I took advantage of their "bogo" on some of their roasts. Both had been placed into discount section because they'd reached their sell by date. I don't remember the percentage that it was marked down (it was a good chunk though) so after that, and getting the second roast free, I paid somewhere around $13 for almost 20 lbs. of meat. That was a huge savings right there.

It's frustrating, and it takes some time to get used to doing it (so you don't always forget your packet at home, etc.) but it really does save a lot. Their are pros out there that will spend pennies on the dollar after using their coupons and will walk out of the store with over a hundred dollars worth of stuff for only a few dollars. Look for vids on youtube. They have tons of stuff on their so you should be able to learn a few neat tricks that way.

I wish I could use more coupons but because of the food issues my oldest son has (absolutely no corn or soy among other items) most of the items I can find coupons for and would actually buy I can't anymore. You will find corn or soy in most things on the market, in some form or another, even in things you wouldn't think it belonged in. So I basically have to make everything from scratch. But you can bet I'm doing a little jig when I do find a coupon that I can utilize. :)

Oh, and for shopping online, I always go to couponcabin.com I almost ALWAYS find a good deal that way.

Coupon shopping used to be so much easier! When the papers actually had coupons in them.
I tried finding deals online then, printing out the coupons... each site had it's own download to be able to print and I never did get any to print.
Now, that we have so many dietary restrictions it's even more difficult to eat cheaply.
I try buying from the source, and have friends that have joined co-ops and they get lots of stuff for a little. Of course you have to buy into it early in the season....

I am not a couponer excpet for my local grocer who sends out a special email with a coupon for something when you spend $20+ each week. Usually it is good stuff you can get for free up to about $7 value.

That said... keep in mind the time you spend couponing, organizing, etc. For me time=money and it is not worth my time. I just shop wisely and stock up when I see a good deal.

I am a couponer but i stick with the newspaper inserts, i rarely print internet coupons because to me it seems expensive to replace ink cartiges all the time. I heard that some places let you down load coupons to your phones and scan your phone at check out maybe target?? i see some one posted a list of sites try that.
Also i've seen people post that if they use foxfire things won't print but if they use other things it does, IE instead or sorry not to techinaclly savy but that might be your problem your browser?

I get alot of mine out of my local Sunday paper. I can't stand printing them off. It takes way too much time and the print feature messes with my computer. Although, I think that's what the manufacturer may have in mind so we DON'T use the coupons ;-)

I got into couponing when we had to go on a budget and had a fixed amt. to work with every week. I get sooo much more for the money that way.
We have 2 grocery stores I shop at where we live. Every week, when I get the sale flyers, I compare who has the better price for the things I need, and I go to both stores each week. When I have a coupon for something that is on sale, so much better. I've actually gotten things free that way :)

Every Sunday, I buy 2 newspapers because I save way more than the $3 that it cost me to buy the 2 papers. Check to make sure they're in there though, because sometimes they are missing. I also print coupons from sites like couponmom.com and coupons.com.
Sometimes our stores have double your dollar off coupons on the front page of the week's flyer- usually 3 or 4. Those are the best because I am automatically saving either 6 or 8 dollars just by using them. For ex., one week Celestial Seasonings Tea was on sale for $2.50. I had a $1 coupon, which was doubled, so the tea cost 50 cents.
Colgate toothpaste was on sale for 1.75. I had a $1 coupon, which was doubled, so it was free :)
Green Giant Frozen Boxed Veggies on sale for $1 ea. I had a coupon for $1 off of 3, which was doubled, so I got 3 boxes of veggies for only $1.

Since I am a SAHM, I feel like I'm still contributing something financially by saving so much money.

Clothing too. I went through all my children's summer clothes from last year that I stored away for the winter to make room. I made a list of what I determined each child was going to need after I saw what they already had that still fit. Previous years I just went out and bought summer clothes, but who remembers what 4 children were wearing last summer? I wound up buying things I didn't really need.

I shop the outlets (especially Carter's and Osh Kosh). If you go on their website you can print out coupons and save even more. I go with my list which also has each child's height and weight written on it - that way I can go by myself :) and not be rushed when they start getting bored and complaining. I can also focus better that way. I wind up getting things for less than it would cost to get something similar at Walmart!
Hope all this helps (sorry it was so wordy) :(
Good luck :)
