Can someone tell me how to not be such a crabass? Its a beautiful day, I went and got a pedicure, I should be pretty happy! But no, Im 8 months pregnant, my body feels stretched to the max, I am irritated by everything, Its hard to breath, Im swollen and look and feel disgusting. I walk like a penguin. I am SOOO fat. I literally wish I could just jump out of my skin and be someone else for a day! My sister just called me and told me what time I "need" to schedule my c-section so its convenient for her.
I am to the point where all I want to do is lay in bed until I can get this baby out of me!! Ugh! Sorry for having to read this, I guess I just needed to get that out. What can I do while Im conscience to stay sane? I know, I should be grateful, which I am, but I also feel like Im going crazy!

What can I do next?

I have those days, weeks and MONTHS sometimes. I basically had a mental break down about three weeks before Hurricane Catrina hit. I almost immediately snapped out of my depression thinking "wow, those people have REAL problems, this WILL pass."

I GUTTED my house and donated a carful of stuff and donated as much money as we could afford. This has NOTHING to do with your post but knowing things WILL change and knowing here's someone that has it worse than you kind of resets my thinking and the crabbiness melts away.

Btw, your sister is bat sh!t crazy.

Just remember at least you can still sleep!! Once baby comes, you are SOL in the sleeping department.

In the meantime, lounge on the couch w/ the remote, look at your pretty toes and watch some netflix.

Poor thing. Truly, your sister is insane. You need to schedule that c-section for the first moment you can! :)

I'm currently 41 weeks,& 3 days, can you imagine how I feel? Let me humour you: I have really bad carpal tunnel in my hands that is being made worse by my pregnancy, my hands are constantly in pain, my feet are also swollen, I am also waddling around, I feel like his head is going to pop out anytime now, getting out of bed takes 5 minutes 'cuz I'm so heavy.I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE THIS BABY.

Maybe spending some time alone will make you feel better, a nice warm bath, or a long nap. I hope you feel better soon:)

First of all rest assured Molly that you will be okay. Your pregnancy seems to be getting to you right now and that is perfectly normal. When I was 8 months pregnant with my son I got so irritated because I couldn't see my feet properly to tie my own shoes. You are on the right track to feeling better by getting the pedicure. Try some other things such as a hot bath or a short walk. And the call from your sister didn't help things either! I hope that you can get some "you time" in so that you will feel better soon.

Hey don't feel bad I have days like that and I'm not even pregnant! But I do remember the feeling, I used to almost feel claustrophobic in my own body, especially if i was driving my car! But your almost done and the baby will be out before you know it, so as clique as it sounds, try to enjoy the precious moments you can feel him or her kicking around in there:)

I was a psychopath my last month. My baby is 3 weeks old now (my third) but I got the point where I told my husband that he would never be born and was going to be reabsorbed into my body. Not that it is any consolation, but now that he's here I can hardly do anything without having more bleeding (I had to actually run a lap around the outside of my house yesterday since my toddler went in one direction and my oldest stayed put), I can't work out, I have the deflated belly look and can only button one pair of normal jeans, and I can't even have sex. There is always something to be crabby about, but overall I will say my moods are better now that I'm not pregnant. Glad you got a pedicure in--just think about how pretty your feet are going to look when you have your baby!!

I had people telling me what days were best for them for me to have my son, too, and I did not have anything to schedule. Thankfully I DID go into labor on a day that was convenient for someone to watch our older kids here at home, and I managed to do it before midnight. Hang in there!! :(
