Cub Scout Dues

Our pack has a $40 registration fee, then later there's a $60 activity fee that's waived if you sell $200 of popcorn. This covers 2 camping fees plus one meal during each camping trip, badges, pinewood derby car, and most of the craft projects at meetings. We pay extra for activities like bowling, banquet/potluck meals, and other trips like camping overnight at the baseball stadium.
At our pack's recruiting night, I spoke to a parent who was very concerned about the cost. She was worried about having enough money to pay the $40 registration fee- let alone buying the uniform. The pack leader said that sometimes the extra popcorn money can be used to pay for fees, or the scout store might be able to work out something.

$25 plus a monthly magazine and neckerchief & handbook.

My youngest is now a Web I - our pack charges $85 and that includes EVERYTHING - camp fees (3x), badges and belt loops, rain gutter regatta, pine wood derby, soap box derby and any other events or troop sponsored stuff we do and that also includes the Boys Life magazine...

So we don't get "hit up" for anything.

We do sell popcorn but it's not a HUGE push - we end up doing well but that's it...

We just paid $24 for my son's dues, he's a Wolf Cub. They are also camping right now and charged us about $7 for the one night trip for my son and hubby.
