So as the thunder rumbled the other night I went in to my child's room to find them asleep sucking on the first two fingers (normal) and having the index finger from the other hand shoved in their ear fast asleep. I couldn't help but waking my husband because it was just too cute to miss. What is the funniest position you have ever found your child asleep in?

When my daughter was about 6 months old, I had her laying down on her back on the sofa, and I was leaning in and tickling her belly with kisses and shaking my hair in her face to make her laugh. One second she was laughing hysterically, the next time I "came up for air" (probably about 30 seconds later) she was sound asleep! I guess my "jokes" weren't as funny as I thought they were!

My middle child once fell asleep on the stairs! It was hilarious...he was playing on them one minute, the next minute he was face down, knees on one stair...head on another, toys still clenched in his hands...snoozing away!

He obviously needed some sleep, so we left him there and everyone continued on with our day..taking care to step over him...it was great, we took lots of pictures.

I put my 2yo & 8 year old DD's down for bed the other night in their seperate rooms, I come in an hour later to check in on my 2yo, & there laye the girls snuggled, my 8yos arm around her lil sis, them face to face, squished in to my 2yo's toddler bed. I couldn't help but take a pic & wake them up from the flash, it was too cute!! When there fighting & screaming & picking on eachother next time & I want to pull my hair out, I'll get the pic out & remind myself of better times. ;)

I once found my 3 year old sleeping between the bed and her toybox, no blanket, pillow or anything, just pooh bear. I asked her why and she just told me she wanted to. :-)

Yesterday, she was laying on my arm and I told her she needed to move her head because my hand was falling asleep and she looked at me very seriously and said "but it doesnt have a face!"

We have on several instances taken pictures of my son asleep in his bed with one knee bent up and the other leg crossed over with his ankle resting on the opposite bent knee. Too funny

My 1.5 year old girl likes to pull all of her stuffed animals off the edges of her crib (we keep them up, pinned between the crib & wall) and pile them up in the middle of the bed and lay on top of them, butt in the air! I can see tigger's leg sticking out one way, the puppy's ears another, the bear's arm is under her leg, etc! So cute!
Another time, she must have found all of her "hidden" binkys, because I found her napping with 2 in her mouth and one in each hand! It was like she couldn't decide which one she liked the best!

And, I still love it when she falls asleep in the carseat, drooling, and blows spit bubbles with each breath!

When my son was two he loved washing his hands and could stay at the sink with the water running forever! One day he washed and after a while I turned the water off and told him it was time to dry his hands. Well, he cried and cried because I wouldn't put the water back on- and he wouldn't leave the sink. After a few minutes, all was quiet, I went to check on him and he was sound asleep standing at the pedestal sink with his head on the sink by the knobs! One of my favorite pics ever!

My youngest daughter has a knack for sleeping in wierd positions. When she was 4 we were living with my parents and both my girls were sleeping in the same room. My older daughter got sick and was throwing up. We moved my youngest out. Even though she wasn't sick she insisted on sleeping with a throw up pan. The kind you get from the hospital, the rectangular ones. When she moved back into the room she still insisted on sleeping with the pan. One night my dad went in to give her a kiss and she was asleep in the pan. Her bottom was inside the pan and her pillow was under her back. She was sound asleep with her feet haning out one end and her head the other. Out of all the positions she's slept in that was by far the cutest and strangest.

I have caught my oldest (6 in June) on several occasions SLEEP EATING! Not the kind where they get up out of bed and hit the fridge, but sitting in his chair, sleeping, chewing and head slowly bobbing every which way. He would even go as far as taking another bite of something while he dozed! Yes, I have video...
