I'm new to TX. Just moved here 1 week ago. I have an 8yr. old daughter who loves to dance. We live in FM and haven't been able to find a dance studio and not knowing my surrounding towns yet, I thought maybe someone could help.

I don't have a dance studio to recommend but I LOVE my pediatrician. She is Dr. Kari Dutton at Kids Kare in Flower Mound. Her office is on 2499 and 1171. Her phone number is ###-###-####. Her partner, Dr. Steve Smalley, is great as well.

My oldest daughter is on the competition gymnastics team and my toddler is in the toddler gymnastics class at Win Kids (formerly Gym Kids)and I know they have several dance programs, as well as gymnastics, martial arts, swim, cheer, etc. They are in a brand new, BEAUTIFUL facility off of 2499 (Long Prairie) in FM - down close to the Target.
We've been really happy with their gym program. Check it out! Tell them I sent you! Good luck.
I don't have any personal experience with either, but I have heard good things about Top Hat in Lewisville and The Ballet Conservatory in Highland Village.
Dancin Feet is good, Excite has dance and they are about to open a big location in Parker Square in December. Footlights is also great!! My daughter's eight also!! And these are the places that her friends go!! We go to excite!! Good Luck!!!

Depending on what area of FM you are in, there's a great dance studio in Bartonville called Turning Pointe. The website is www.turningpointedancestudio.net.
I'm adding my two cents again...Kids Care is great. Dr. Smalley is wonderful with our little one.
Dana's Dance Studio in Southlake is excellent.
Sheena's Dance Academy in Coppell is pretty good. They have a variety of classes. I've known several moms who've taken their daughters there.
My Daughter attends Song N Dance in Lewisville. It's a smaller studio so the prices are a little cheaper than most and there is more individual attention than the biger studios. They also work with our crazy schedule so my daughter is able to attend two diffrent dance classes for the cost of one (on alternating weeks).

I'm sure there's one closer, but in case not, we love A Time to Dance studio in Corinth. It's on Swisher. The program is worship-oriented.
