hello M.
if someone send you a email about dental school send me a message too i need a dental to
My husband has very bad teeth and we know he should just get dentures, the teeth are cracked or need root canals and crowns and all in all it will cost so much money and he is out of work right now. I am a teacher and we can not afford to pay a dentist to do all the work, it will cost like 8,000. I was told to look for a dental school, it might be cheaper, does anyone know a dental school in chicago or the chicagoland area that might be able to help us, or a dental clinic that could help. I dont want his dental problems to get more severe than they are! Help please!!!
Thanks

Here are a couple that we refer to in the Chicago area:
Donated Dental Services DDS / National Foundation of Dentistry
Northbrook, IL

I can't find the names right now, but know there is one in southern wisconsin as well as the U of I schools. I believe there is also a clinic in Waukegan, IL. Could try contacting the Lake Co Il Dept of Health
University of Illinois at Chicago. I went there when I fell and broke both my front teeth and didn't have insurance. I hope this helps.

University of Illinois at Chicago has a dental program - and, I think, a student run clinic.
UIC has a good dental school. I have a friend who attends there. Look on their website, and call for info. I'm sure you could get help there.
I know for sure the University of Illinois in Chicago has a Dental School and they will do work for little or no cost. I believe there is probably a waiting list. I had a friend who went to Dental school there some years back. Give them a call. Good Luck.
Hi M.,
Indiana Univ.- Northwest in Gary has a program. Their web site is www.iun.edu I have seen ads for them looking for patients before. Good luck!

Hi M.,
I just read your request for a dentist for your husband. I am a dentist myself, and I just opened my own office in Mt. Prospect. If you are still interested, write or call me and I can see if I can help your husband for a very reasonable cost. I completely understand that dental care is expensive, that's why I'm always willing to work with my patients.

Hi M.,
Sorry to hear about the dental problems. Prairie State College has a dental school as well as Univ of Il-Chgo. In addition, I am a Family Physician and recommend changing your dental care regimen to a natural based dental line with tea tree oil. It not only kills bacteria at the gum line but also heals the gums from the inside out! Please contact me and I can share more info with you.
