Baked Vidalia Onion Dip

1 cup chopped vidalia onion
1 cup grated parmesan cheese or shredded swiss (I used some of both)
1 cup mayo
Optional: 1 clove garlic chopped, hot pepper sauce to taste (I did not use these)

Preheat oven to 375.
Combine all ingredients in casserole dish
Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with favorite dippers (we used a baguette)

I imagine you can double/triple this and do it in a crockpot, it just won't brown as much. This is SO good, if you like onion!

Good luck!

We had this at a luncheon and it was really good. It is not particularly appealing but it should be dark around the campfire. :
)
Sausage Dip

2 - 16 oz. packages of Bob Evans/Jimmy Dean original roll sausage
4 - 8 oz. packages of cream cheese
2 cans Rotel

Brown sausage in skillet. Drain sausage in colander, pressing out excess grease with paper towels. Put cream cheese in skillet and melt. Stir in Rotel, mixing well.
Stir in sausage. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or toast rounds. We preferred the tortilla chips.

I just did this for a bonfire we had at my sisters house for a party and it went over very well.

Reuben Dip
1 can sauerkraut
1 8oz cr. cheese
corned beef (i used a quarter pound from the deli)chop it up in little sections
1 c. thousand island dressing.
rye bread or crackers for dipping. (i used rye bread that i tore in cubed pieces)

drain sauerkraut and mix with cream cheese. stir in corned beef & thousand island dressing.
I did all of mine right in the crock pot and just kept the crockpot on low or warm.

BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP

2 CANS CHICKEN OR 2 CUPS DICED CHICKEN BREAST
2-8OZ PKG CREAM CHEESE (SOFTENED)
1 C. RANCH DRESSING
¾ C. HOT SAUCE (I USE BUFFALO WING SAUCE)

SERVE WITH TORTILLA CHIPS, CRACKERS OR CELERY AND ENJOY !!!

· I sauté the chicken in a little bit of the hot sauce before adding it to the mixture
· Sometimes I put the dip in a crock pot and add shredded cheddar cheese and put it in the crockpot on low
· You can also use bleu cheese dressing instead of ranch

Hi,

Here is a great dip that always goes over fabulously (especially with the boys!!!).
Buffalo Chicken Dip:
precooked roticerie (sp??) chicken (shred it up)
1 block of room temp cream chz
1 cup ranch dressing
Franks red hot sauce (to taste) (I like it hot!!!)
celery sticks
small slices of french bread (long and crispy on outside kind)

put cream chz/ranch and chkn in pan on stove and mix together than add hot sauce to taste until blended. Put in crock pot to keep warm. I have one of those small crock pots ($5 at walmart or target). Use the celery sticks and the bread for dipping or scooping more like it!!!! ENJOY!!! pss....its also great with beer on the side! :)

How about pepperoni dip? You need:

1 can cream of celery soup
1 8oz pkg of cream cheese
pepperoni (I use the bagged stuff that's already sliced)
Ritz crackers

Quarter the pepperoni while the cream cheese and soup are softening. Once softened, add the pepperoni (for a single serving I use just over 1/2 a small bag of pepperoni...to fill a crock pot and depending on how many people you will have you might want to double or triple the recipe). DO NOT let the dip come to a boil...it should be easy enough to keep warm without boiling in a crock pot. Scoop up with Ritz crackers and yum!

Hope you enjoy!!

Here's one that we like:

Equal parts of cream cheese and sour cream heated and stirred together.
Add chunk pepperoni, diced into 1/2 inch cubes
Salt and pepper to taste.

You can make as much as you need ... just increasing the proportions!

put them all in a pot and melt it till it is not chunky anymore.

take 1 rotesserie (sp?) chicken and pull it apart and add it to the mix.

Hi! If you like spicy, make buffalo chicken dip.
Shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce (I mix Frank's original, butter and a touch of honey) lastly, add your blue cheese (fresh is best or use Marzetti) let it bubble away in the crock and serve with crusty bread.
For those who don't like spicy, you can also make a BBQ ranch chicken. So many options.....just think of your favorite meal and turn it into a dip. Taco dip goes over big...layer your seasoned beef, then a combination of cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar and salsa! YUM!
Feel free to contact with questions...but I think your imagination will do the work.
Have fun onyour campout.

I make a chilli/ cheese dip in a small crock pot that is really easy. All you do is take Velveeta (1/2 block or whole depending on how much dip you want.) A can or two of chilli with beans and a large jar of salsa (whatever temp you like, we use medium.)Heat that up until the cheese melts then mix in the salsa and cans of chilli. Serve with tortilla chips. My nephew loves this and requests that I make it whenever we go to a cookout at his house. Guess he figures it must be hard to make or something.

Are you up for spicy?

We call this one Killer Dip:

1 lb hot sausage out of the casing, browned
1 lb ground meat, browned
1 lb Velveta Cheese
1 Large onion sauted in with the meat while cooking
1 can diced tomatoes
salt, pepper, garlic to taste

We usually brown all the meat/onion, cube up the cheese, mix the meat, cheese cubes, tomatoes, and spices, then cook in the oven until melted, hot and bubbly. But I don't see why you couldn't put it in a crock pot.

-----------------------------------------------------

Or Kelbasa, Pineapple preserves, and wochestershire sauce with a bit of water. That's super yummy. And good on crackers, but not really "dip".

This is one that is really easy, but really good. Take one brick of Phillly cream cheese, a can of golden mushroom soup and chop up about 3/4 of a package of sliced pepperoni. It takes a while to melt down together, but the results are fabulous! You can double or triple it as needed. Enjoy

We all love this one- huge pleaser and not actually hot unless you add more jalapenoes.
Jalapeno Popper Spread
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
2 ounces canned diced jalapeno peppers, drained
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Stir together cream cheese and mayonnaise in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in green chiles and jalapeno peppers. Pour mixture into a microwave safe serving dish, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Microwave on High until hot, about 3 minutes. (or throw in the crockpot on low)

Hi,
You need to bake it in the oven first, but will be great keeping warm in a crock pot...

HOT CORN DIP:
2 11oz cans of mexicorn (found in the canned corn section)
2 cups of mayo
2 oz chopped jalepenos (optional)
8 oz bag of shredded jack/cheddar cheese
1 cup of parm cheese

mix all ingredients together and place in a cassarole dish. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes (until top is slightly brown). Serve hot w/ tortilla chips. Enjoy - it's always a huge hit!!!

There are only two ingredients to my favorite--a can of chili (or jar or two of salsa) and a block of velveeta. Cut up the cheese, dump the salsa or chili in the pot, stir in the cheese until it melts. Serve with tortilla chips! If you want a little more meat to the salsa option, brown up some ground beef and add that to the mix.
