Has anyone ever done the Disney Reward free 5x7 photo at Epcot? If so, is it always the same character and are the lines long?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

We just got back today. We were the only ones there when we went for our picture. We got to see Mickey and Pluto. B. F was right...the line to pick it up was much worse. We had to wait about 20 minutes for that when we were leaving (around 6:00)

I have never done it and I have never noticed long lines outside the area where the picture is taken. (It is in the Innovations area at Epcot). You will need your Disney Visa Card when you go in. Call Disney’s customer service I am sure they can answer any questions you have.

I did it with my son last year. We were there in June and while the rest of our group rode Test Track (which he did not like at all) we went over. We did not wait very long at all for the photo. I think we got in line right after the "lunch break." We got to see Mickey and Pluto and they actually spent a little more time with us then the usual character photo shots. The picture came out great! My mistake was waiting til almost closing to go get my photo. That line was longer because people are there getting all kinds of photos. OH-I also had like 5 or 6 to pick from. My son (4 at the time) LOVED IT!!! Be prepared to show your Rewards card--they do check for that. The line is inside one of the Innovations buildings so being in the air condition was a nice break from the heat.

We just did this last summer at Epcot. The line was not very long when we did it. I believe it's during certain hours and they rotate the characters in and out and don't tell you who's inside. You are surprised when you go in. For us it was Mickey, Minnie and Goofy which was awesome because we had been looking for Goofy all week. And yes like Jackie said you will need your card to get in.

We have done it twice and both times it was Minnie and Goofy. The line only took about 20-30 minutes.

WE have done this many times. It is well worth it. There is just about a 3 hour time span. We usually go about 30 minutes prior and get in line. Sometimes the line gets a little long but nothing like in other places in the park. They will take quite a few pictures and put them on our photopass and take pictues with your camera too. You get to choose the picture tht you get free. It is your own private time with the characters and they don"t rush you.
