Going to Disneyland soon on a tight budget. Does anyone know where reduced price tickets can be purchased or if they can be purchased? We need to purchase five. We are going for two days this month. My sister lives in California so she can purchase them but it says you need proof of residency for the Southern California discount. HELP!

What can I do next?

A Warning!!

People used to be able to buy say a 5 day pass and use only 2 days and then sell the tickets on E-Bay or Craigslist. They would then overnight the tickets to the purchaser and that family/person could use the 3 days still remaining on the tickets.

The folks at Disneyland have gotten wise to this practice and are taking measures to ensure people can no longer do this. So you could end up paying for the tickets on E-Bay and then having them not work (and a security hassle) when you get to the park.

Be sure any discounted tickets are legit.

Hi there!! I go to Disneyland all the time (22 times last yr to be exact LOL) and I know for a FACT that if your sister buys the tickets for you(and uses her info) and she prints them out for you (these are called e-tickets) all you do is present them at the gate(where you actually enter into the park, not where you would buy tickets you don't even have to go there), they scan them and you're in. You won't be asked for proof of residence or anything the e-tickets won't even have your name on them. so keep them in a safe spot! P.S I was at disney on saturday and I can confirm that they have a 2 day 2 park special for $99 per person.

Do you know anyone who lives in Southern California? SoCal residents (zip codes 90000-93599) can purchase a 2-Day 1-Park per Day ticket from now through June 1, 2012 for just $99 and pick the park you want to visit each day, Disneyland or California Adventure. So you could do a day at each for $99 per person, about the least I have found.

And here's a page with info and links that you may find helpful:

Have fun!!

The website mousesavers.com has updates with the latest deals. Also has some good tips on booking accommodations, too.

We just went and you do not have to show proof of address, so have your sister print them and have fun.

Not sure if anyone in your family is in the military (or reserves or national guard), but Disney has a wonderful military discount. The service member has to be present to activate the tickets.
