You should be ok. I would do it asap if I were you.
You can do it through the WDW customer service (they are quite helpful) or online.
Good luck.
I am thinking of staying at either the Wilderness Lodge or the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I am also interested in a Winnie the Pooh character bfast. Do you think its too late to book reservations for either?

Nope. Not too late. Last year we booked as late as March for June. We even got last minute Pooh breakfast. Some things you want to do will be booked.
Keep in mind that if you do regular tickets and NOT the park hopper, that you can only visit one park a day, and so any meal reservations will need to be for that day's park. Also, if you stay on property, there are special early and after hours for different parks. Ex. Friday nights from 11p - 2 a is the Magic Kingdom hours. Again, if you don't have the park hopper, and go to Animal Kingdom on Friday, you can't then go to Magic Kingdom that night, until maybe after midnight. not sure about that part.
No, but I would get on it. It's advised that you have reservations anytime you want to eat at a sit down place. I found out after the fact that they book in 15 min increments. So if you request say dinner for 4 at 6 and they say it's booked, ask for 6:15 and so on. But seriously, get after it. We started about 8 months out and had some trouble getting in to eat at some places. Good Luck!
Don't think it's too late; the best character meal places book out six months in advance, so you are just under that - do it quickly and I think you'll be fine.
I don't think it's too late. You should be able to get a room for sure. The character breakfast may be a tougher reservation, but if you don't succeed the first time using the web site to make the character dining reservation, keep trying. People cancel and switch around all the time, so it's highy likely it will open up for you if you are persistant. I know people who have had luck with hard to get reservations, even trying it at the last minute. Don't be discouraged.
I would book any character meals now, they fill up very fast. You will find Pooh and friends at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom (the food is very good too). If you can be flexible with your eating times then you should be able to find something, they are also there for lunches and dinners.
Have fun!!
prob not too late for the lodge , but might be too late for the breakfast, Check the disney website you can do both online.
It's probably not too late; early June is not a peak time for Disney World. I would get on it quickly, though. Character breakfasts tend to book up quickly. The Winnie the Pooh one (at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom, correct?) is nice, but the breakfast at Chef Mickey's is the absolute best! Unfortunately, it books very far in advance. If you get shut out of any meal reservations, keep trying even until the last minute; people often cancel close to reservation time. I have stayed at quite a few Disney hotels, and the Wilderness Lodge is my absolute favorite! Have you ever stayed there before? If you want a quiet, peaceful view from your balcony, ask for a 'woods view'. The first time I stayed there, I asked for a 'water view' and got a view of the pools (and all of the screaming kids swimming in it)! The restaurants at the Wilderness Lodge are great, too. Whispering Canyon Cafe is a lot of fun for the kids, and Artist Point has some of the best food (and wines) at Disney World. Good luck with your reservations, and have fun!
I booked our princess character Royal Table dinner at Cinderella's castle in February a couple of years ago for a late June date, so I think it's still possible to book a Winnie the Pooh character breakfast now. Keep checking their online reservations for the date you want, sometimes some dates/times open up. Good luck!
Nope - I sugget that you call the 800 number to inquire. Or go to a travel agent and let them do the work.
I am the Disney expert. I have taken my son 7 times and he is only 11. We just spent xmas there. We are going back June 29th. It is not late to book and in fact I get to book my dining reservations this Friday. Dining reservations can be done 180 days before you go. Don't go without the dining plan. I love Wilderness Lodge we stayed there Last May. It is so awesome. I would get to booking this trip. The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom has Winnie the Pooh characters and it feels up fast. The food there is so good. I have done lunch and dinner there before, great buffet. Chef Mickeys is the best character meal. Its at the Contemporary Resort. I love the breakfast there. Tusker House at Animal Kingdom has awesome bteakfast character meal too. I have stayed at all deluxe resorts and Wilderness Lodge is my favorite. Have fun but book now.
I just booked mine for end of May......our 1st time! Have fun
We booked in March for a July stay at the Wilderness Lodge. Make sure you make reservations for any character meals asap. Summer is actually off season for Florida but don't wait too long. And go ahead and make all special meal reservations (if you're on a dining plan) when you book.
We would go to the parks in the morning, go back to the hotel for lunch and swimming, and return to the parks in late afternoon. Thank goodness for the shuttles!
Have a great time and don't try to do it all in one day. I saw too many exhausted kids for whom it was not the happiest place on earth :-)
