Aaaaaw, my fella Neil and one of the most beautiful love songs ever recorded. And this from a girl who despises country music.
Wait, what was the question?

today's harvest moon is going to be a wonky one! expect the unexpected, keep your tempers, listen more than you talk.
but not here. it should be REALLY interesting here over the weekend.........
ETA, melissa, it's just the name of the full moon closest to mabon, the autumn equinox.

well, mine ended up being delightful! both kids back home to spend the night, we went to a pumpkin patch and corn maze, and they put up all my halloween lights and some of the decorations. and the moon was out, and spectacular.

I woke up in a dog pile this morning... Does that count?
(Kingsize bed. One R.. One 10yo. One Chocolate lab. All of us crammed on one TINY little strip of the giant/huge bed. Priceless.)
Going to a party tonight.
A-hoooooooooooooooo!
now that my kids are grown I don't howl as much
Already with the troubles this morning, I see from the Q&A list.
I felt like howling this morning...my awesome husband has a not-to-awesome habit of leaving 'empties' everywhere. Not empty beer cans-- I could deal with that. Instead, it's empty boxes and containers. Take out lightbulb, replace it, throw away old bulb...but leave the empty package on the counter. Yesterday I found the box and directions for his allergy meds empty on the counter. The day before in the basement I found a box for something-- I have no idea what it is-- EMPTY. Why, oh why, would one take the time to put an empty box 'away'? (I really think I might have lost my brain because I simply do not understand this sort of thinking!) When he puts his emptied out tubes of allergy spray BACK into the bathroom cupboard-- and I mean MULTIPLES!!!-- oh, I just love that one. ACK!
And I said nothing, and will say nothing for today. So, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to vent, because he *did* let me sleep in! S., this post might just save the morning in a few people's houses. Thanks! ;)
(more than you asked for, probably, but now I have mental space for that all-important *listening*)
Yes I do feel a little like howling, now it all makes sense.
I don't feel like howling... but I do feel like checking the batteries in my camera. I've been waiting for a good harvest moon, but to click, not to howl.
Howling? No.
My neighbors would think I've lost my mind.
I have been fortunate to see many beautiful Harvest Moons, but if the fog rolls in, we can't see a thing.
I'm not ready for this time of year. It feels like it came too fast.
Theresa N....thanks for mentioning one of my very favorite songs!
Ya think? I hope not. I want a calm weekend.
LOL....I like Riley J, woke up in a pack, me sandwiched between my 2 dogs, so I think I'm doomed to howl tonite and this weekend...LOLOLOL.
I will however mind my p's and q's when I go out amongst the humans today...LOL. Good luck to everybody else!
I literally felt like a nut today.....now I know why. ( ;
I feel like howling, but just over car frustrations........... cars keep breaking down, and we're broke!
OK whats a harvest moon?
It's raining here all weekend so we'll not be able to see it.
