Donation Items for Someone in Need

Check craigslist. Usually moms in need will post looking for donations of baby items. :)

I'm sure you received several responses, but my daughter is expecting her first child and neither her nor her boyfriend have the funds to purchase all the things they are going to need (and unfortunately, I don't either). Please consider her when making your decision.

I know someone, but she's in Florida. It's a friend's neighbor. On our message board we have all "banded" together and sent m oney or items that we could. Is there anything that would be small and easy to ship? I don't want you to have to spend an arm and a leg. She seriously has nothing. :(

The local Crisis Pregnancy Centers take gently used baby items to put in their baby stores. The moms take baby-care classes to earn points, which they can then spend in the store to buy baby and maternity supplies.

I wonder if you can donate it to a battered womens shelter? I bet they are short on those kinds of items. I wish I knew someone personally, that is a great gift.
