Does anyone know of a public Easter egg hunt going on this weekend in the Portland Area? I haven't seen anything. I remember going to an Easter egg hung in West Morland park when I was a kid.

You could try looking on the Portland Parks and Recreation Site. I grew up in Roseburg, OR and took my daughter to an easter egg hunt there that was sponsored by one of the service organizations such as Kiawanis.
There's an egg hunt in NE Portland at Fernhill Park, Saturday morning at 10:00.

I also have been trying to find one as well. We do not belong to a church and I think most of them are through churches. I do know that the Zoo has a rabbit romp on Sat. They divide the kids up and through candy and prizes on the ground. We went there last year, but this year I was hoping to find a real Easter egg hunt.

There are two fabulous ones to consider:
Alpenrose Dairy in Beaverton has one of the largest easter egg hunts in the Portland area and it is always lots of fun. They have a special 'hunt' for moms too that usually involves a pair of diamond earrings from a local jeweler also that is hysterical to watch/participate in.
Oregon Zoo in Portland also has a great easter egg hunt.. they actually do several all day long, and it is a fun time!
Last but not least, check with your local parks and rec department... most cities/suburbs in the portland area have one sponsored by the park department.
