Just be aware that it seriously grosses people out. In our culture, all the bathroom stuff is expected to be private, and EC makes it necessary to do some of it immediately, not whenever the bathroom can be located. This means that you have to be willing to stare down the looks of disapproval and disgust, or live your life very, very close to home.
I read the anthropology about EC when my kids were really young and it struck me at the time that the cultures that do that don't have upholstery and expectations of being securely dressed at all times. They also live where communal toileting doesn't involve walls of any kind (think 'holes in the roads in China' where everyone 'goes')...
It seemed to me that it would create a lot of different-kind of work for mom... not less. I have not known anyone who successfully did so in a city after the child was about 9 months old. I've lived in *very* hippy areas, and the people who succeed for longer live the vast majority of their lives actually AT the farm... not in cars, not in libraries or at coffee shops...
Know yourself and your preferred lifestyle, and be willing to try it out and see how it goes rather than committing completely to it as 'the best idea ever.' Always make it possible to change your mind without hurting your pride...
