I have given them as Mothers Day Gifts before and both loved them. I think they are more reasonable and worth the money than flowers (although those are nice to get sometimes too).
Has anyone receieved or purchased a edible fruit arrangement and if so was it worth the money?
I have given them as Mothers Day Gifts before and both loved them. I think they are more reasonable and worth the money than flowers (although those are nice to get sometimes too).
I purchased edible fruit arrangements for Mothers Day and had then sent to my Mother, Mother-in-law and Grandmother-in-law and all three of them loved the decoration and the fruit. My mother said that she couldn't eat all of the fruit before it would go bad, so she made a fruit salad and fruit smoothies.
I have given them and received them and LOVE them. They are so much fun and very unique.
My son got a fruit one for his birthday because he loves fruit. However, he doesn't like cantalope - which was the majority of it so I would say just to be sure that whomever you are sending it to really would like all parts.
I just ordered an edible arrangement for my mother and unfortunately my mother wasn't home at the time. Sooo, Edible Arrangement had left it with a neighbor who my parents don't even know! They went over to the neighbor's house and the neighbor wasn't home. I called Edible Arrangement and they said there's nothing they can do because it states in their policy that that's what they do.
Not only am I out $80+, my mother doesn't get a present for Mother's day! Now why would a company give something that's edible to a neighbor and not even ask nor call me or my mother if they can't deliver it? Plus, I don't know half my neighbors and one is a registered sex offender. I'm sure there are a lot of people who have this same issue. Wow, huh?
I will never use Edible Arrangements again!!
I got one as a gift before it was beautiful and yummy!
I have purchased them before for end of the year teacher gifts. The teachers always said that they loved them. The Rockwall store is the one that I bought them from. Very nice people there.
Yes, I have purchased and received them. They are a lot of fun and unlike flowers, you can eat them!!!!!!!!!
I was just at a graduation party in San Antonio where the graduate's crazy grandmother had spent several hundred on these things. The answer is no, they are not worth the money. They are about $25 worth of fruit. All they did was use iceberg lettuce in place of the floral foam and use bamboo skewers to make shish kabob type picks with fruit in a cute metal basket. They cut one side of the lettuce to get it to stand up straight and tore some up and stuck in the bottom as filler, then then used a leafy lettuce to cover the iceberg and poked the skewers in. With an ounce of creativity, you could get the same look for a lot less money. Hope this helps.
We purchased a large one for our daughter's birthday party. It was delicious and completely worth the money we paid for it!
Only on the receiving end, and they are delicious and LOVELY. I don't know how much they cost...so the "worth it" is up to you, but they are nice:)
I just wanted to let you know that my company also does great doughnut bouqets, candy bar bouqets, and lollipop bouqets... in case you may be interested.
As for the Fruit ones, I really think they are lovely and I have gotten them before and I really enjoyed them. (especially the ones dipped in chocolate!)
Hope that helps,

Yes, they are great! Fun, because they are so easy to eat and in different shapes and sizes. You could win one if you go to Kroger, Dairy Queen and other stores (customer service area) and pick up this local advertising newsletter. Just find the little man in the advertising and send in the form. My husband won a yummy arrangement and then another time, I won 50.00. Good Luck
My husband has sent them to me before and I love them. They are delicious! I am not sure how much they cost, but I have also been pleased.
