Ok, so I am giving 2 of my crazy friends, the "Elf on the shelf " doll and books. They do not have children.. but they have always sent out these crazy elf shenanigans.. They think it is hilarious.. as well as creepy.
we will be exchanging gifts this week at our "Lunch Bunch christmas Lunch".. It will be at a restaurant.
I cannot think of anything really funny and clever at this point..
I know you guys have great imaginations.. Please help me out. Thanks..
Presentation.. Yes. Should I pose the elf in a box doing something? Or have a funny poem? Maybe have the elves doing something on the table?
Just cannot think.. I have looked on Pinterest.. But just do not see the exact funny pose or props..
I've always thought the lines " He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake" were so incredibly creepy. I would try to do something with that.
A friend just posted a picture of her elf sitting on the tank of the toilet and on the lid, written in dry erase marker, were the words: Ho ho ho, who has to go! You could take a lot of pictures and quick put together a little book of capers the elf has gone on and tuck it under his arm (there are lots of pics online of the elf doing inappropriate things...)

If it is for adults... maybe a Karma Sutra 'Elf' book. (take pictures of them in compromising positions and put them in a book).
You need a photo book of a few other elves and then leave space for them to add more.
I just took one of our elf last night. I think she has a problem with prescription drugs.

Since it is for adults, I would absolutely snag some adult elf pics from the internet and compile them into an elf brag book to be given with the elf. The funniest I've seen is barbie "dancing" around a metal paper towel pole like a stripper and the elf is sitting there with a dollar bill in hand...
