you may have a little prolapse - unfortunately its common :( see your obgyn and they can examone you and check. sometimes depending on the cuase there is a simple procedure that can fix it.
My baby is one year old and when I sneeze or cough really hard I....
wet my pants. Does this happen to anyone else? I had a v-bac with the last delivery. Does this just mean I need to be doing more Keegle's?

Hi S.,
Urinary incontinence is common after childbirth. As a matter of fact, women wait to long to seek professional help in such matters. Many never do and suffer embarrassment for life. There is hope!! Pelvic floor strengthening and Kegel exercises on your own are great, however, not always enough. At times, more specialized instructions, training and other interventions by Physical therapists bring better results, depending on the reason for your stress incontinence. My background is in Physical therapy and treatment of pelvic floor problems of such nature.
I recommend you ask your OB/GYN , urologist or any other MD for a consult/ Evaluate and Treat order for physical Therapist that specializes in this field.
Depending where you live I can recommend a P.T.clinic.

I have three kids, the youngest are twins, I to can leak when laughing or sneezing. I think its just a part of the body changing after giving birth. Try not to laugh to much or sneeze. (ha-ha)
My friend went through this same thing and is still having problems...her baby is 6! She said Keegle's didn't work for her and she is seeing a urologist to find a solution for her.
I guess my suggestion is to tell your doctor sooner than later.
This is more common than you'd think and doing keegles should help. Also wearing a little pad especially when you're away from home.
I am not sure how many Kegel's you are doing, but I would also check in with your doctors. Make sure all is well and there is nothing lingering?
I have heard of this, but usually closer to the delivery when the muscle walls are still lax from baby.
Good luck!
I also had this problem. Everyone kept telling me it was normal, but I couldn't use a trampoline or jog anymore without wearing a pad. I am way to chicken to have surgery. Besides, it wasn't really an option because I am going to have another baby which would probably undo the surgery.
The thing that has helped tremendously was to buy some "exercise equipment" to do more effective Kegels. You can use vaginal weights. I opted to use the Myself trainer. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Myself-Pelvic-Muscle-Trainer-PMT/dp...
It took about 8 weeks and I noticed a big difference. I still have to remember to flex up before I sneeze - but now no leaks. I can also jog or bounce without leaking.
