I love Bare Essencials. you can find it online, at Ulta, or the KOP mall has a Bare Essuncials store
Can anyone recommend a good foundation that is lightweight and has an SPF in it? I also need one that gives good coverage because I have acne. I have been using Neutrogena Healthy Skin liquid foundation for years. I would just like to try something more lightweight.
I love Bare Essencials. you can find it online, at Ulta, or the KOP mall has a Bare Essuncials store
I would highly recommend Mary Kay products. I have been using them and selling them for years. I use all their products and love all of them.

I would recommend Bare Escentuals Matte Makeup. This is the only makeup I have ever tried that controls oily shine and doesn't make my skin itch. It seems expensive, but it lasts a long time. You can get a special trial kit on their website and also in Sephora Stores. Some J.C. Penney stores with a Sephora Dept also sell Bare Escentuals.
clinique is great
you should try it

Hi J.,
I use bare escentuals/ bare minerals powder foundation andd love it!
I never thought I would like a powder foundation, however
This stuff is fabulous! You don't even feel like you are wearing
Makeup and it makes your skin better the more you wear it.
There are no harsh chemicals and things to clog your pores.
Also, they make a great powder coverup for blemishes and they
Have a powder form of acne medicine you can put on blemishes under
Your makeup, my skin has improved by using bare minerals. It's so good
Your skin you can sleep with it on! Good luck ~K.
Bare Minerals is the way to go! Its healthy for your skin, has an SPF, and is better to use during breakouts. you can get it at ULTA and Sephora.
i love bare minerals, you can try it at ulta with no obligation to buy & i think if you do purchase it you can return if you dont like t
Here's another vote for Bare Minerals! It is a bit pricey up front, but it lasts FOREVER, and you can get a starter kit pretty cheaply to see if you're going to like it. If you get it at ULTA you can get one of the 3 dollar coupons they usually have in the Sunday papers. It is the best thing for your skin, and provides great coverage.
Laura Mercier mineral foundation is great. You can find it at Sephora.
If I had the $$$$$ I would go with Bare Minerals, but because the economy is blah....I chose to go with Lorel Minerals....love it! Love it! It is $11 at CVS.
That's exactly what I was going to say--Bare Escentuals/Minerals. You can get it at Sephora, or online, and it lasts FOREVER. You use only a tiny bit, and if you don't spill, you can really make it last a long long time.
Aveda tinted moisturizer is my absolute fave! I think it gives great coverage! Their regular foundation is nice too.
J.,
Mary Kay has a moisturizing foundation with SPF20. Should you be able to try it prior to buying. If you decide to purchase and be unhappy, the consultant will refund your money. Another possibility for more coverage is using the day solution with SPF 25 and Medium Coverage Foundation for full coverage. I would be happy to help you if you like. E.
I LOVE Mary Kay Mineral Make-up Foundadion! It is very lightweight since it is a powder and you can control the amount of coverage you need depending on the number of "layers" you put on. I think I have more blemishes now in my 30's than I did in my teens and I feel that I get great coverage from it. My Mary Kay Independent Consultant is Rechelle Kennedy ###-###-#### or ____@____.com or www.marykay.com/rkennedypink
Hope this helps! Good Luck and Happy New Year! Nikki

I personally love Mary Kays tinted moisturizer. It comes in the regular foundation colors and it very lightweight with sunscreen. I use it everyday and if I have a zit or something just use some concealer to help cover that spot.
Try Bare Minerals! There are always infomercials on tv if you want to see what it's like. You can also try it at Ulta, Sephora or the Bare Escentuals store. It's great - lightweight, no toxins or chemicals, and has great coverage (just by applying it with different brushes!). You can sometimes get the starter kit really cheap with the tv offer. It's worth it!
Hi J.,
If you have a Mary Kay consultant, ask her about the tinted moisturizer. It's super lightweight and also has spf in it. I, too, am very acne prone and use this daily, along with the MK Velocity Cleanser and moisturizer set. If you don't have a consultant, I'll be more than happy to service your needs, as I service all 50 states. If you're interested, please let me know and I'll be more than happy to send you my website address.
Best of luck in finding the right match!

Funny...I couldn't STAND bare minerals. It was put on me once for a shoot and I thought it looked artificial and didn't give good coverage, and didn't match my skin tone. After a few shots the make up artist agreed and she put MAC on me (GREAT line...prob the best..found at Macy's and other Dept. stores).
On a day-to-day basis I found True Match by L'oreal to be a surpisingly good foundation. Great coverage, but looks very very natural. Plus, it stays on most of the day. I bought it once on sale thinking it wouldn't be any good, but I am very impressed. They sometimes have BOGO at Rite Aid.
:)
Try I.D. powder sold in Ulta. I really like it. It is very lightweight and cover up good
I have been using Bare Minerals for awhile now and I love it. It has an SPF and covers very well. Plus it is light. You can go to the website or a local boutique and they can set you upwith the right color. But I love it!

I like Origins products. Last time though, in a pinch, I picked up Jane tinted moisturizer at the grocery store and I really like it! Not sure if it would be heavy enough coverage but for abut $8, might be worth a try...
Yes! I loooove Bare Minerals. A little pricey, but well worth it and it lasts forever. My acne cleared up as soon as I started using it. You can find it online or in Sephora. Good luck! :)
Any of the powdered 'mineral' foundations with SPF are supposed to be good for acne-prone skin--Bare Minerals, Neutrogena, L'Oreal (that one has really heavy coverage if that's something you want).
