Hi.

I'm looking for some free magazines for kids - kind of like the Lego Club Jr. My son gets those in the mail and I'm looking for something along those lines for my daughter (she is almost 5) - just so she can feel special getting something in the mail. I know there are a lot of online resources out there - but I'm hoping to find something that would come through the postal service :)

Thank you all for your help.

A.

Do you have any disney DVDs? I'm not selling disney or anything! I recently paid attention to the inserts in my daughter's movies and saw the "disney rewards points" papers in them. I thought "hmmm.... I'll look." I went on the website and put in the points we had in all of our dvds, we ended up with a ton! They have a kids fun magazine that you can subscribe to free for a year if you have like 500 points or something. Not sure if this helps you, but most of us have a few disney movies and they end up like 100 pts each, or 125 for blurays. Might be a free solution and sooo fun to get mail!!

I know this isn't free, but High Five by Highlights is a great magazine for kids from age 3-5 or 6. My DD is 4 and is starting her 3 yr with them. My parents buy them for her...it's like $24 a year or something like that, but it's a lot of fun and learning for them. My gma & gpa got me Highlights for YEARS when I was a kid and I absolutely LOVED them! They are a great thing. They come once a month.

The lego one is the ONLY one I have ever found to be free. There are magazines that will send you one free issue but that is it besides the free online stuff. Could do a something from a favorite store, put have to remind her it is just for her to look at, not buying anything from it.

Finally I asked as a Christmas gift someone get my daughter a monthly (or whatever) magazine... so both set of grandparents each got her a different magazine, it has been working out well.

I don't know about a free magazine but could you find her a catalog from a favorite store and have it delivered to her.
