Have any of you that have been on here since the mamasource days ever find a friend in someone else on here to the point you became friends on Facebook even though you've never actually met in person? Just Curious:) Happy Hump Day!
Yes, I have several mamapedia friends on Fb, they are just as awesome there as here! But sadly, no, I haven't met anyone in person.

Not just from here but I have friends all over the world from different message boards I belong to. Last year when we went to Europe I met a few that live in London. Really cool.

Yes :) I have found a wonderful friend, and she and I are facebook buddies. It's a shame we live far away from each other though, I live in Washington and she lives in South California, because she really is an awesome person!
Not from here, but I am FB friends with 2 ladies that I met in a Yahoo Catholic chat room when we were in high school. It's been almost 12 years, and I have yet to met either in person, but we have several mutual friends and I consider them to be just as close of friends as some of my lifelong friends.

Not on this site but plenty of other 'mom sites' I have a dozen or so FB friends I have never met.
I have alot of daycare provider friends who I have never met in person, but have "known" for about 5-8 years on a former daycare site (we still go there but it was a very active posting board for MN providers on a specific food program...we started with the site and were the core group). A few of us migrated to FB about 12-18 mos ago maybe...so we could post pics of our set ups, kids (our own..not dc kids), etc...and now the other site rarely has posts....most of us still check it once a week for a "Happy Friday" post, tho!
So I am totally not opposed to never-met-in-prson, long-distance-friendships-online with other gals, moms, and provider pals.
I have become Facebook friends with one member from the good ole Mamasource days, and I'm glad because she's freaking hilarious...even if she is a dirty Cubs fan. Haven't met her in person, though.
Otherwise, I do not use Facebook to log in to this site or use FB in any way to interact with Mamapedia. I kind of like my anonymity. I'm a hermit, what can I say?
Im just a one year vet here but I would love to meet some of my girls on here! If I could swing it I would make plans to have a girls weekend for all of us! How fun that would be! I don't have girlfriends so y'all are the closest I've got to it!

Yes, she and I both found ourselves answering the same questions almost word for word the same answers. She and I sent messages back and forth here and since we both play the same games on FB we friended each other.
I have tons of pictures on my page with my grand-kids and lots of personal stuff so I am very very careful.
All of my friends are people I personally know or they are the friend of someone I personally know. She was the first one I didn't know that way and I have really enjoyed getting to know her.
