You can adjust any regular recipe to be gluten free. Also, there are tons of gluten free foods at the local grocery stores. Do you have Celiac?

I work for Bell and Evans a large producer of Anti Biotic Free Premium Poultry products. We just in the past year introduced a few gluten free products that have been very successful, and the kids LOVE them! Check out our website at www.bellandevans.com, the main two gluten free products we have right now are Gluten free breaded tenders and gluten free nuggets. Our nuggets are breaded portions of breast meat, not a ground product, and are very good. My children love them. I have recieved a lot of good feedback as far as reactions from customers to the gluten free products and highly recommend them. My family only eats B & E poultry products because the kids prefer them, and they are healthier than the alternatives. Hope that helps. Also, I believe there are still some gluten free recipes on the site.

I work at Whole Foods Market and we have a large amount of gluten free stuff. There is a magazine called Living Without that has a lot of recipies.

Try www.allrecipes.com - they've got a TON of gluten free recipes. Also for shopping, I know Wegman's has a pretty decent selection of gluten free products. Good luck!

I've found that making some things with buckwheat pancake mix is very helpful.

There is a recipe on the back of New Hope Mills mix for chocolate chip cookies. If you look at the ingredients on the bag, you can adjust any recipe almost to use this in place of the other ingredients.

I just compared my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe to this one and whatever was NOT in this one's recipe I left out of my favorite recipe. Remember what is already IN the bag, and you can adjust for almost anything.

I sent some to work Monday with my husband for him and a coworker who is also gluten intolerant and the entire SHOP ate them. You can't tell they are not 'real'.

My husband has celiac disease and has a bad reaction to almost anything with regular flour excluding some crackers and other stuff that doesn't have leavening in it. (tortilla shells, for instance)

trader joes has a print out of foods that are gluten free there- just ask for the list from someone who works there, and it is also online. whole foods has a similar list. many of the products are available at regular stores now. there are sections at barnes & nobles for gluten free, also websites and support groups since this is not an easy diet when it is a young child.
good luck

Hi I wanted to ask...is this for someone that has (and forgive spelling) cealiac? And do they also have to stay away from wheat? If so you are welcome to call me or email me..my now ex was finally after years told he had cealiac. (sp) My email is ____@____.com There are lots of web sites and groups to get info from. and the health food stores have things as well...I did find really reading labels a huge help, surprised at how many things he could still eat.
