I am possibly looking for a part time nanny or sitter for some afternoons and a few evenings. I need to find out what the going rate is? I am a single mom that is building a new business so money is tight right now.

I hired a high-school girl. She comes every day to my house after school for 3 hours and plans to come 4 hours a day in the Summer. I chose an honors student who was part of the "PALS" program. Many local high schools have small day care centers in them and it's actually a class that the students take. I pay her $8/hour although I think she would have gladly done it for $7. Isn't minimum wage much lower than that?

I am also a single mother. My daughter is 3 and I work full time. I was looking for other moms who would be interested in forming a coop arrangement. Money is also a factor for me. My direct email is ____@____.com can talk and see how we may be of assistance to one another.

Typically it's $10.00 an hr or $40-$50 a day depending on the day.

I am a single mom as well looking to starting watching children at my home, full or part time.
I do babysit on weekends as well.
