We've used La Petite Acadmey on Rte 59 & Caton Farm Rd. They were good but a little expensive. Switched to the Romeoville Park District and love it! The Park Districts seemed to have great preschool programs for a more affordable price. I've heard nothing but great things about the Plainfield, Romeoville, and Joliet park district programs.

My sister (who lives in Plainfield) has signed my niece up for Preschool with the Joliet Park District. I had a friend who had her son go there for 2 years and they really liked it. Good Luck.
My son went to Peaceful Hearts in Plainfield. It's part of Peace Lutheran Church. You don't have to be a member to attend the school. It was great. My son loved it.

My daughter went to Peaceful Hearts at Peace Lutheran in downtown Plainfield. We liked it, but my downfall was that there isn't an outdoor playground. I believe there is a Trinity Preschool at the church on Van Dyke across from the middle school (sorry... I can't remember the actual school names right now). A lot of my friends have also used Junior Village at 59 and 135th and Little Dames and Gents out of a woman's home behind Jewel at 135th is awesome!
Good Luck
My kids went to great adventure preschool and they love it. It's part of the plainfield park district program. My neighbor go to Apple tree in renwick. my other neighbor said lockport park district also have a good preschool program.
Check with the park districts near you, they might have something you like.
