Kid 2 Kid is great. There's one on Huebner, one on 410, and one on Bitters. Everything is in great condition. You can also sell them your used toys and clothing, too.

I've ran across several good ones - they seem to be all over town. I would just visit the ones in your area and the explore.

I think it depends on where you live. We have a Salvation Army and a Goodwill close by, but there is one called Thrift Town that I like even better. It is organized and has good deals. I am not sure of their exact location, but they come up with a google search.
