Cafe Latte works if you can hit it either before or after the lunch rush and another adult can stay with the kids while one goes thru the line. There's also the Italian Pie Shoppe for pizza.
I am looking for suggestions for a good, easy, family friendly restaurant for lunch on Grand Ave. in St. Paul. Looking for someplace that can seat a group of 6 adults and 4 children (a 3 year old, a 2 year old, a 1 year old and an infant).
Thanks!
Thank you!
I think we'll try Damico and Sons. I think we have too many little ones to do Cafe Latte, and the Thai place is great, but we have peanut allergies to worry about. Thanks again!

I would try Axel's Bonfire. They are in the same building as Cafe Latte. They are large enough to seat all of you and they have a little build your own sundae thing for kids. The food is great too!
Try Cafe Latte. I believe it's on the corner of Victoria and Grand. It's not fancy (cafeteria style, actually) but the food is really yummy and there would definitely be something for everyone. Also really really good chocolate cake!
A couple of options:
chipolte....its casual southwest and they have a side room that's more private if your kids are loud.
Bonfire Grill: They have big tables/corner booths and its often not that busy on wknds for lunch-kids menu too.
Italian Pie Shop: pizza and other italian, casual
just a few options

Hi J.,
One of the restaurants we frequent is D'Amico and Sons. It has salads, soups, sandwiches and hot Italinan dishes and wonderful desserts and cookies. They have several large tables and it is a casual atmosphere where children are more than welcome. We love Grand Ave and in the Summer we often go for a walk along Grand or Summit and then have a bite at D'Amico's....kind of a tradition with us and our 2 year old loves it too.
Hope this helps!

We love Pad Thai Restaurant right at Macalaster--they are great to kids and have some big tables for groups.
Tavern on Grand always works for us. They have a back room that has a big table. Im not sure if you have to call ahead. Its more casual so its easy for kids.
