Hello Moms,

Have you taken your child to Gymboree or currently enrolled in Gymboree? I am curious to find out what your experiences are before I take my toddler, or any advice you can give would also be appreciated.

Thank you in advance

I haven't done gymboree but I am doing My Gym and my son loves it. They work on building the core strengths of the body, helping with large and fine motor skills, plus social. You get a free class with My Gym so you can try it out before seeing if you like it or not.

I second the other mom's advice in washing hands... I also take Wet Ones antibacterial hand wipes... I'll never understand why parents take their sick kids to places, but they do.

Hello,

I've taken my son to Gymboree from 8 months to 14 months. He loved it and I was satisfied with how fast he was catching up with everything. It's a good exposure to play and other kids. Just be careful to wash his hands after each class (my doctor recommended that). Also, it's a good place to socialize with other moms and make friends if you're looking for that.

Gymboree is great. Both my kids loved it.
We started them when they were about 9 months old.
But unfortunately, had to stop due to cost.

BUT, it really depends on the facilitator... each one has their own style/personality. But, it's a real great thing for kids... and they really enjoy it & look forward to it.

Good luck,
Susan

My son is 18 months and has been going to Gymboree since he was 10 months. He has tons of fun and learns a lot at the same time. It's great for us too because I stay home with him so I like to get him exposed to other kids. I totally recommend it.

My nieces both took gymboree when they were younger and really enjoyed it. I hear there is a great program at cliff drive park music school. They have really great enrichment programs and they teach music for older kids too. You can find info at: www.cliffdriveparkmusicschool.com. Hope this helps!

I took my daughter to Gymboree from 3 months till she was 17 months old. I really liked it when she was little, helped with learning how to crawl and then walk, it was very clean and everything was padded. I took her out becasue she was getting bord with the activities. We are now going to My Gym and I totally recomend it to everyone. My daughter loves it. I did try the Art class that Gymboree offers a few weeks ago and it was a great class but very expansive.
