I used Lupron many years ago and had MANY side effects. There are lots of side effects. Have your friend do her research first. Feel free to email me at ____@____.com if you have more questions.
My friend is considering using Lupron for chemical menopause to see if a hysterectomy would help with her chronic migraines. I am trying to find any info I can on people's experiences with Lupron. I thought this would be a good place to search, so any input on this procedure would be very helpful.

Yes, I had used lupron when I was 23 yrs old. Unfortunately for me it was an extremely difficult experience, there are numerous side effects they do not tell you about. Depression, severe mood swings, hot flashes, the usual menopause symptoms but much worse. I ended up having a hysterectomy at the age of 30 and it was the best thing for me, however my surgery was due to endometrosis so I am not sure if it helps with migraines. Just a little information hope it helps.
I used Lupron when I was 17. It tricks your body in to thinking its in menopause. So all the same side effects will happen. I had hot flashes and all that junk. But its only temporary and the pay of is well worth the 6 month struggle. It helped my endometriosis. I honestly don't know how it will help with migraines. But I'm no Dr:)
I have used it to help with endometreosis. It was just like going through menopause. I had hot flashes, mood swings, and did not like it. It did do the job but then later I found out that there is a possibility that it can rob your bones of calcium. I wish that I would have read up more on it before I took it, but, It did the trick and I now have 2 beautiful children. Have your friend weigh her benifits and sideffects. Knowledge is the best!
Hi, V.
Because I had endometriosis and cysts; I had to undergo the Lupron treatment a few times. I believe I did it for 2 years. I underwent the treatment 6 months at a time. It controlled my pain and somewhat shrank my cysts and kept them submissive. While on the lupron, I gained 10 lbs but I was not in pain. The first time I was on Lupron, I had some hot flashes-not intense, but they were present. The hot flashes were minimal after a while; weren't bad at all and I think it was because I was also taking some natural supplements. DO your research and do what is best for you as everyone is different. I just had my hysterectomy July 07 and it was the best thing I could have done. It was a very complicated surgery, but I am glad that I did it.
Hi V.,
I don't know anything about Lupron, but I do know about migraines!!
My husband suffered for years with them. Getting at least one per week, putting him in bed for a day, sometimes two...white as a sheet, nauseous.
Our naturopath had just learned about an All-in-One liquid vitamin and mineral supplement called Vibe and gave some to my husband who had already been in bed suffering for 5 hours and had thrown up twice (sorry for being graphic).
He drank some Vibe. (surprisingly pleasant tasting) Within 15 minutes the color returned to his face, the nausea had passed.
IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR...TOTAL RELIEF!!!!
Turns out it was simply a mineral deficiency. The body will fix itself if given the right nutrition.
Vibe uses a leading edge technology which reduces the size of the nutrients to reach and be absorbed by the cells in minutes... which explains the quick relief my husband experienced.
I started to take Vibe also, as I am menopausal, and it reduced those effects by roughly 98%.
No more rollercoaster for me!!!
We have been on Vibe now for 3 years. It totally changed our lives!
I can't tell enough people about this amazing product.
I would be happy to send you and your friend some free samples if interested.
here too is a website: www.vibeforme.com/smartidea
I can even hook you both up with my naturopath. He is happy to do free phone consultations. He is amazing.
let me know if I can help.
We shouldn't have to suffer!!!

Hi V.,
I have used Lupron, however I used it to help my endometriosis. As a bonus it worked wonders on my migraines. I haven't used it in a couple years, due to pregnancies. I was thinking about going back on it and was talking to a friend who told me there were some new studies out showing that Lupron is thought to be linked to breast cancer. Don't let me scare you, I have not read up on this. I would just make sure you and your friend research the latest studies on this treatment.
Hi V.,
Please check out this website www.cellustem4u.stemtechbiz.com before any decisions are made. In October last year I was having some really bad headaches and was sent to so many doctors to figure out what was going on. I had test after test after test. During this time I started taking this herbal product and I started feeling better after a week. It got even better after two and by the end of the month my headaches were gone. When this all started, I had a spinal tap and they said I had too much spinal fluid and that the pressure was causing my pain. They were concerned that I had a condition that would keep this happening for life. After getting on this product, they could no longer find any thing that would cause problems and my spinal fluid had gone back to normal. I also went to an opthomologist for some tests and found out that my eyes had gone back to 20/20 I no longer need to wear glasses. By the way I had to have an emergency hysterectomy 10 years ago, it is not an option that should be looked at lightly. Whatever the decision I wish you luck.
