Has Anyone Used Sitter City?

I have used sitter city and almost a year later, have 2 wonderful, consistent babysitters that watch my 2 kids (9 year old & 11-month old) sometimes at nights...They are wonderful. Very good experience with sitter city. A matter of fact, my family had done an interview for sittercity with Fox 13 tampa bay news. Great service. You also might want to check into LovingArms LLC. They are local out of Sarasota. They are a nanny, babysitting, petsitting, you name it type of service. They do all the background checks & everything. You pay a small fee to be a member & then pay by the hour for the sitter. But, you could get a sitter right away if you needed it or you could plan to have one. They are unbelievable when it comes to flexibility. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

I haven't used it and dont really need it, but considered putting my daughter on there who babysits, but decided not to for her safety.

We are Trinity area, are you close? I do have an acquaintacne who is starting up her own nanny business in this area. I could connect you, but would want to make sure she is OK giving out her cell number first.

Dear M., I do not know here you live. My daughter is a young adult who may be leaving for missionary training this summer, but she does babysit. She has had all the YMCA courses over the years, and had worked for the Y since age 15. She even took care of a special needs child for a year who had a swallowing disorder, heart surgery and Down Syndrome, so his Mom could return to work. I am an RN,so she started across the street babysitting for another nurse's children, then the Y and has branched out, even to NJ as a nanny for a while. Maddie, Manatee County

i dont know about getting a sitter, but i am listed on there, and get a lot of emails. Also, you can check here at mamasource, there are a lot of sitters here. You could also call the parks & rec center, they offer babysitter courses. Also, call daycare centers, they may have a listing of employees that work at night. GL~kim :)

I have not tried sitter city but I did go on line to babysitters.com and I can tell you don't use that one at all. I emailed a couple of sitters and they have never emailed me back I don't know if it is a con to get your money but it sure feels like it since I never got a sitter out of it. I know that sitter city was more expensive so that is why I tried this other one. Good luck cause I am in the same boat as you trying to find a sitter is very hard.
