Hello Mommies!
I am coordinating an after school picnic play date for Kindergarten students. The children will be bringing a sack lunch but I am in charge of bringing some beverages and treats. I will have waters and possibly some cookies. I need some ideas for some easy healthy treats to offer the children after lunch. What would you want to see if you were bringing your child? There will be around 30 kids and their parents and I have a budget to stick to so cost is an issue as well.

I like the idea of bringing big bowls of snack mix. You can get so creative with snack mixes (avoid nuts and seeds in case of allergies!).
Things you can add:
mini ritz crackers
pretzel sticks
yogurt-covered raisins or regular raisins
dried fruits
Chex cereal
goldfish crackers
teddy grahams
chocolate chips (or white chocolate chips)
granola
Celery with peanutbutter and raisins.
fruit
cheese sticks
go gurt
An easy fruit or veggie - apples or bananas and celery and a source of protein, like cheese or peanut butter.

the second can also be found at Fresh & Easy and other grocers carry them or others that are similar.
Kids love them and they are pure fruit, no sugar added.
