I am wanting to connect with some other moms in my area that have also gone through the experience of having HELLP syndrome. It's a club that no one has chosen to be in!! LOL I am wanting to know things like if any of you have had children after your HELLP baby and what precautions you and your doctor have used.

It is a club you don't get to chose to be in. I find it interesting that its suppose to happen in less than 1% of all pregnancies and yet i know of 2 other women that had it within 4 months of me. we all want more kids and have gotten together to discuss our cases. since your post is over 2 years old have you had any more children yet? if so vbac or c-section and did you make it full term.
I am in now way claiming to know what you went through, but I have a very close friend who sufferend through HELLP syndrome. Her baby was also born 8 weeks early & was not quite 3 lbs. Her little girl did amazing but she had a very hard time coming back. Luckily, everyone is happy & healthy now! I do know, in her specific situation, she has been advised tha she should not have any more children since she was told that she will more than likely suffer the same situation & proably earlier. I know that she had high blood pressure w/ her 1st baby & he was born 2 weeks early because of that. She must have a situation where the first baby caused her to get close to preeclamsia & then her 2nd baby sent her over the edge.
I hope this wasn't a downer...Just sharing the little that I have had experice with.
good luck!
I developed HELLP syndrome while I was in labor with my daughter (August 2006). I had shown no symptoms whatsoever until I was in labor. I was a pretty atypical case. I did end up having two transfusions afterward.
I don't have any tips about babies afterward, because this is my only baby. I would love to hear about your experience though.
