Hi Mama's!! Ok, here goes... I am 33 yrs old.. I am 5'6 and weigh about 132..which is ideal except for I have this jiggly tummy I cannot stand.. my clothes do not fit right and I have "overhangage".. (is that a word?? lol) I am a size 6 and they still fit but you can see the tummy bulging over and if I go up to a 7/8 they are too big...I have had 3 kids... 2 of them in the passed 3 yrs... I realize that things change with age and Im okay with that... but I cannot seem to lose this.... I have always been about 115 lbs.. and with all 3 pregnancies only gained about 20 lbs total... after my 3 yr old it just fell off but after my baby boy ( 6 months ) nope.. its not going anywhere...So..I am starting to go the the Frisco Rec center and going to use the machines there... I cant afford a personal trainer so this is where you come in... can anyone suggest a regiman for me that has worked for you or someone you know...or do you know anyone that trains that I could meet with and get an assessment that doesnt charge an arm and a leg?? Not asking for anything free... I am a sensible eater.. and drink lotsa water.... the sit ups and crunches are not working ... its really taking a toll on my self esteem... thanks in advance for your time and understanding. :)

Hello T., Have you heard of the book "Escape your Shape"? The author's name is Edward Jackowski. Check it out at your local library. Make sure you do the right excercises for your body shape. A lot of these exercises you can do at home inexpensively. Have you thought of some kind of fasting to get your body re-regulated?

Email me if you need more help on this subject. I've done water fastings and am currently on the Master Cleanse.

Blessings

Swimming works wonders for the abs and it is F-U-N!!!
It is one exercise I look forward to doing.

Since you have to "suck it in" to float, you strengthens your stomach muscles and you soon find yourself "sucking it in" all day long. which with time takes the flab away (you will want to eat less because it's sucked in, plus the action itself tones the tommy!)

You sound like you look great! I hate to tell you this, but the overhang will not go away with exercise. I have a huge one, & I've talked to my doc recently about it. It can get smaller by losing the fat in that area, but the skin will not go back to the same firmness. The only way to get rid of that is a tummy tuck.

I just read an article regarding tummy fat this weekend. I am having the same issue. The article recommends Pilates to get rid of a tummy. Hopefully it works!
