This is, indeed, a scary thing...but please go to the Medical Board first, not the media! There may be some mistake or explanation.
Hello,
I recently went to a surgeon who none of the staff could prove had his M.D. license, I looked the doctor up on the state board of medical examiners but he wasn't listed their either.. Does anyone know how i can report this? I would hate for someone to get hurt by this doctor.

That's a pretty serious charge. I encourage you NOT to post the doctor's name here until you know something concrete. I noticed the only other things you've posted to this board have been a couple complaints about doctors. Careful what you throw around...

I, too would like to know who this person is so we can all be aware. Thanks.
How did you find this doctor, and what his his, her name?
You can report him to the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners Attn: Investigations 1812 Centre Creek Dr. Suite 300 PO BOX 149134 Austin, Texas 78714-9314. Or you can call 1-800-201-9353
Just report your finding to AMA and dont go back to see him/her.
Dr. Michael White (I see him Grapevine but he also has an office in Keller) ###-###-####. Good luck.
And i would say report it to the media - get it on the news so people know!
Please share with us who the Doctor is so we can all avoid going to him.
Contact the state Attorney General or the American Medical Association
Call the Dallas County Medical Society. ###-###-####. They should be able to send you in the right direction.

You would go through the board. http://www.tmb.state.tx.us/
If this was dental surgeon, I think you may need to go through the dental board as I think they're licensed differently (as are chiropractors, podiatrists, osteopaths, etc. I believe since none of those kinds of Drs technically would be MDs.
You can contact the local police and have them investigate as impersonating a physician would be a crime.
