Hi T.,
You could try all the products listed but it might take the finish of the floor as well. If you need somebody to help you in case of that call Vally from Ariel Remodeling: ###-###-####.

Oh man do I need some help here! My 2 yr old got into a bottle of White Out and it is on our hard wood floors. If I try to clean it, it just gets worse ...going down deep into the cracks. Has this ever happened to anyone?? Any suggestions as to what I could try to help get it out? Goo gone? Thanks in advance!

Hello.
Ugh, the dreaded white out on hardwood floors. I had white paint! I was going to suggest what the previous mom said, Shaklee's Nature Bright or Basic H. I let it sit and then used a straight edge blade and did some light scraping as well. It was a tedious job, but we are paint free on our hardwood floors.
Good Luck!

steam clean it first to loosen up the stuff
I have gotten out stains from furniture and walls with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It even took off permanent marker and paint off of my wood table. Good Luck!
Take something like a plastic spatula, and just scape it off…carefully! : )
I have never gotten White Out on our hardwood floors but I have gotten paint and lots of it! Gotta love these 2 year olds! lol
Once it is dry just use a credit card or similar and gently scrape if off. No need for expensive products or anything like that. When the majority is off the floor then wash with your normal cleaner to get the little specks you will probably have left. Nice and easy!
Good luck and blessings to you!

A friend of mine is a Shakley Rep....here is her email. Good luck!!! Her first name is Terri.
I am also a big Shaklee fan. I have samples of Basic H2 I could mail to you if you want to try it. Let me know!
A light steam cleaning could do it. I just saw a commercial for a Haan steam cleaner for hardwood and laminate floors. I bought it and can't wait to get it in the mail. You can go to www.buyhaan.com for the info. No chemicals are used, just hot steam that dries immediately so no leakage on the wood.
I use a product from Shaklee called nature bright. It's a laundry brightener, like oxi-clean, only natural. I spilled iodine on the brand new floor in my church's fellowship hall, and this stuff got it out. I mixed it with a bit of water, let it sit for a while and then wiped it up. I don't know for sure how it would do with white out, but it could be worth a try.
I am another Shaklee testimonial. That stuff gets out everything! We had red punch on our carpet and the part I cleaned with the Nature Bright is now cleaner than the rest of the carpet!
You will also have to do some scraping. Do NOT use a Mr. Clean Eraser!
I just had to clean this off one of my boys' pants. First I scraped, then I cleaned. Do you think the white out has some subliminal message calling out to these kids?? :-)
