Hi all! We need to replace the carpet in our master bedroom. Can anyone recommend reputable company that is reasonably priced? Many thanks!

What can I do next?

Every single one of your posts is a request for business recommendations. Is there not a consumers' group in your area, like Angie's List or even the Better Business Bureau, to help you with these questions? This really isn't about parenting.

Here. Angie's List is well worth the annual fee:

Or at a minimum - let me google that for you...

I hope to never go back to carpet once I decide to pull mine up. I'm an empty nester with future grand kids. I hope to put in fake wood floors in the next three years. So far already have it in the bathroom and kitchen.

I don't have a carpet referral but Poo poo on Veruca Salt. I post mommy questions on here as well as non mommy questions...and so do many others. Some people just help but be rude. I also don't belong to Angie's List and don't place much stock in it. I worked with a guy once who got EVERY vendor he used from Angie's List, one of them hired to do work at the school I worked at, and there were nothing but problems with this guy and his work was crappy! At the same time, this co-worker was having problems with a roof he had done by an Anige's List contractor. I don't know if these businesses pay to be listed on Angie's List but will never use it. I prefer to ask around and get references form people.

Anyway, I just remember the last place we got carpet, Mesa Sales in Mesa. I think their prices are competitive. We got a remnant and carpeted one room. I don't think the installed did a very good job around the door though.

We improved our house while living in Phoenix. We shopped a few stores to learn about quality and prices. We ended up buying from a warehouse store. Once you know what quality you want and price ranges you can do well at a discount store. You can check them out through the Better Business Bureau and by looking them up online. Often there will be evaluations.

You can also google shopping for a carpet to learn what to look for.
