Please help! I am seeking the services of a divorce attorney that can help me. I have 4 small children and have been married 17 years. My husband had an affair with a girl 13 years younger. He still sneaks around with her behind my back. Needless to say this has continued for almost a year - she has made it very clear to me she has no intention of going anywhere. We are going to divorce but waiting until the kids finish the school year. Does anyone know of a GREAT divorce attorney they highly recommend?? Thank you in advance for your advice!!

I have known Lisa Vance and Jeff Bernstein for many years. Though they are both great attorney's they have totally different personalities. In the situation you are in it appears it will get very ugly so I would suggest you go with Lisa Vance. She is a take no prisoners type of woman and she isn't afraid to get in their faces. Jeff is a very nice, sweet man that you would love to death, I just can't see him getting in anyone's face or in a big pow wow should that happen. He is more "let's compromise and work it out" vs. Lisa will not back down if that is warranted.
Just my opinion but like I said they are both great but just totally different people. Both have been around a long time.

BEWARE of Lisa Vance!!!!!
My friend has been drug through the worst Mediation that I have heard of.
Lisa Vance, my friends attorney, appointed a contractor(intern quality attorney) to handle my friends case. It looked like mediation was almost complete when my friends spouse started selling items against court orders. Ms. Vance did nothing to get the judge to stop it. These items that were sold were part of the items my friend was to get was to get.
When my friend asked for the changes to be made to reflect the sold items her contractor did nothing and neither did she.
Ms. Vance then sent an amended bill that include work her firm did not do. It was full of duplicate charges at the higher rates as if she had done the work when only her contractor had worked on the file.
When my friend questioned the bill she started sending out letters accusing that there was refusal to pay then Ms Vance sent the letters to the judge to get herself dropped from the case.
Now Ms Vance has $7500 and only had to put in $1500 worth of work. Check with the court clerks for judges, check with the state bar, check her out. She is toxic and greedy and has a bad track record.
