Looking for a holistic obgyn/obstetrics doctor in Marietta area. Do not want one of those offices that has about 1000 files of patients in the reception area,or having 1000 patients in the waiting room. Looking for a small,5 doc max office, with holistic views on women's healthcare as well as a holistic approach to pregnancy... thanks for any help.

I second the idea of a midwife :o)
I have a couple of numbers too, feel free to contact me for them.
I do also recommend Kay Johnson, CNM http://www.isisobgyn.com/, she is in ALpharetta but the drive is totally worth it, I now a lot of people who drives distance to get her great care...she also attends births at North Fulton, where you can birth in the water (yipee!)!
Hope that helps you with your search.

Hello,
Hope this helps. There is an office at the Shallowford and Sandy Plains block. It is behind the clinic on the corner back a ways. It is right in the area of that triangle. It is a womans center and they are regular doctors but are into holistic health. I wish I could remember the name but it escapes me. I have not used them personally because my insurance and my daughters do not cover them but when I called they were so helpful. When I really start getting the business going, I am going to go to them. Everyone there seemed very helpful when I my daughter was having some woman difficulties. I called them several times and they never turned me away because they knew I really believed in holistic health.
If you need more description, I email me and I will try and remember more details. Have a great day.

Have you considered a midwife rather than an OB/GYN? Many of them deliver at the local hospitals. I would suggest interviewing several Midwives, I think you are more likely to find the atmosphere and holistic care with them rather than an OB. I am a nurse who delivered my daughter under the care of one as well as worked with them on NUMEROUS occasions. If you would consider delivering at North Fulton, they even have water births at that hospital. Good Luck!

Hi. Did you have any luck finding a holistic obgyn? I'm looking for one myself and I was hoping that you can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Hi,
I do not know of a doctors office like that, but I do know of a couple of midwives who deliver at home. I don't know if you would be interested in that option, but it would be guaranteed to be all natural and I know for sure that one of them definitely recommends good vitamins and herbal remedies for stuff as much as possible. Also, they would come to you for prenatal visits, and it is much less expensive than a hospital. Just thought I'd throw the information out there, and if you are interested in talking to one you can e-mail me at ____@____.com and I can get her contact info to you.
