Tee-see-aah
I could see Tisha or Teesha however, and in certain languages the c would be hard, Teekee-ah or T'keeya
How would you pronounce this name? Ticia? Thanks ladies
thanks everyone! Yeah I have to call all these woman for this party coming up and this one of the names on the list. I just hate calling people and pronouncing the name wrong so I figured you ladies might have a better idea on how to say it. So thanks a bunch!

I'd say "Tisha". I think it looks prettier with the "s", if that is the right way to pronounce it. : )
My first thought was Tisha, but my son knows a girl whose name is pronounced Ti-KEE-ya. I have no idea how it's actually spelled.
People spell names so differently, it's hard to know how to pronounce them sometimes.
I had to try to figure out Riahyon today without offending anyone.
It was simply prounounced "Ryan".
Go figure.
Tisha
Tick-ee-ya (lol)
Ti-see-ya
Ti-shiya
Well, if we all can't figure it out, can you imagine how this person... everyday... she has to repeat 'how' to pronounce her name... to everyone?
Not fun.
Tee-see-uh, like Alicia. Of course,I think some people say Alee-shuh instead of Alee-see-uh, so I don't know.
I think I wouldn't know how to pronounce it and it would make me uncomfortable trying to guess.
TI-shah
(Like tricia without the r)
i',m thinking tisha would be the most logical but it could be tis-ee-uh
Ti - shuh. Like Tricia/Trisha
I would say Tisha. And some people might respond with 'God bless you'.
Additional:
It makes me think of Morticia from the Addams Family.
Aha! Now the RESPOND button is working.
(grumble mumble)
I have already written privately.
I'm surprised no one here has ASKED
how does the person with that name
WANT her name to be pronounced?
I think that's the way it should be pronounced.
ALSO, I enjoyed seeing (from a couple of moms) T-KEE-ya.
That's the introduction to one of the blasts on the shofar
during Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashana . . . a blast of the horn
to get the attention of everyone around
for the important prayers and observances about to take place.
I have never seen this name before... but just looking at it my first response would be to pronounce it "T-i-sh-uh" (first "i" is short)
tisha, tee-sha, tee-cee-ah
me personally, at first instinct i think "tish-ah" like patricia or marcia.
I would pronounce Tisha my second guess is Teesha.
It looks like the ending of the name Patricia...without the 'r'. So I would pronounce it "Tisha."
Didn't read any responses so I wouldn't be biased.
To me, it reads "Tisha."
I'd pronounce it the same as "Tisha".
Like Tricia without the 'r'....Tisha. Were you going for Teesha?
I would pronounce it TISH-ah.
However, in this day and age I might also consider Ty-SHEE-ah.
I would say either tie c ah, or tea c ah
Updated
I would say either tie c ah, or tea c ah
My first impression was "Tee-sha" or "Tisha". :)
I'd pronounce it like Tisha
Tish-uh. Or, I guess tee-see-uh, maybe?
I would guess at T-Sha?
Although it kinda looks like its supposed to be T-see-ah?
tisha, sounds a bit like a sneeze lol
Tee-Sha
or
Tee-Shee-A
I kinda' like it.
:)
Tisha would be my guess but it could be teesheea.
hmm lets see i would say either - ty-sha, tee- sha, or ti-cee-ah
"Tee-sha." That's the first thing that comes to mind, anyhow.
