$70 is lower than minimum wage! Yikes. Your time is worth more than that. Minimum is $7.75. I would at least ask for that, which would add up to $108. I think asking for $120 would be fine, personally.
hello moms, looking for advice on how much to charge for watching a 6 month old 2 days a week 9-4. I was thinking 110-120/week, what do you think.
this person was looking to pay $70/week, but I think that's too low. I have my own 2 year old to watch also...
Thank you moms. I asked for $10/hr and she agreed with that. Thanks again mamas.

For my center I pay $265/week for 5 days for my younger son. That's $53/day for a licensed center (usually more expensive that home daycares in my experience). So at 2 days that's $106 a week.
Will she be able to write off the expense to you or is this cash only? My friend paid one price if it was "legit" and a lower price if she decided not to write it off.
$70/week is crazy for any age! I pay $175/week for my son to be in an in-home daycare in Huntley and when he was a newborn through 2, it was $200/week. And that's a great deal compared to the centers in the area. I would say at least $30/day.
i paid 50 for full day and 25 for half day

I pay $50 for a full day (8-5:15 ish) and $25 for 1/2 day. Pretty standard in our area (St. Charles).
