well there are a lot of factors that can play into this. Like is this your first? because if it's your 2nd or 3rd then it's more normal to show early on. The stronger and tighter you abs are the longer it takes to show. Also it just depends on you. I had one friend who at 8 weeks had already put on about 5 or 6 pounds so yeah she had a little tummy pretty fast. Also it depends on your body and how much you weight to start with. Some girls are tiny and still don't show forever while others are so small that their tummy sticks out almost right away. And the same for heavier girls. Some because they already have a little extra on their tummy don't show forever and others just started putting on even more weight right at their stomach right away. Or some women that are having twins will show a lot faster two. I don't think you have anything to worry about......this might just be the way your body is :)

It should be ok as long as you are feeling normal for your first trimester.

Possible reasons: Bloating, multiples, or weak abdominal muscles.

I'm in my 2nd pregnancy and I was in maternity pants at 8 weeks with the first and 6 weeks with this one. Following pregancies tend to show earlier than your first pregnancy.

Take care of your precious little one and congrats!! :)

Everyone is different and of course, each pregnancy will be different. With my second pregnancy I got very big, very soon. I have a friend who looks about 4 months pregnant right away and that happened with both her pregnancies.

Probably no big deal. My sister and I were pregnant at the same time and I didn't start showing until about 14 weeks, while she was showing at 5! It was the craziest thing I'd ever seen. Strangers would tell her congratulations even when she was still trying to hide it. She was small framed and has a very short torso, I think that had a lot to do with it. If you haven't made an appointment for a doctor yet, definitely do so since it can take some time to get in. Then just mention it to them. But it's probably just they way you are built.

Congratulations!

Everyone's body grows/changes at different rates. I got big quickly with my second pregnancy and the dr told me it was because my ab muscles were still stretched from my first pregnancy. With my third pregnancy I looked like I was 3 months pregnant at my 8 week dr appointment, only to find out I was pregnant with twins!

Many blessings to you and your little one!
