I would recommend Dr. Christie Thomas at Sandhills Pediatrics in Lexington. I take my 20-month-old son to her and she's great with him!
We have been going to the same pediatrician at Carolina Pediatrics since my daughter was born. The doctor left to go work at the fragile childrens unit at USC and now we are left up in arms. We have tried all of the other docs in the practice, and just aren't satisfied with any. We are looking for a female pediatrician that is friendly and competent. My daughter is 3 and is trusting of women more than men. Any recomendations?

My children go to Sandhills Pedi. and they are awesome. They are associated with Richland Memorial, but have offices all over the midlands. We go to the one on 378 in Lexington. I just can't say enough nice things about them!
We also go to Sandhills Ped, but we go to the one in Irmo. I've seen several docs in the practice, but our main dr. is a woman named Dr. O'Leary. She is very good.
Hi! Dr. Bagguet w/ Palmetto peds is wonderful, she has been our M.D. since we moved fron Charleston when our daughter was 18mo. I here Dr. Greenhouse is also very good (same practice) They have two locations in Columbia....Good luck!
I have been going to Susan Claytor at Medical Park Pediatrics since 2002 and whole-heartedly recommend her! She's friendly, competent, experienced, and very thorough. I have 3 children and they all love her. She also is a Mom. :)
I'm not sure what area you are in but, our pediatrician retired so, I started taking my children to see Sonya Head at Palmetto Pediatrics in Lexington. I really like her and so do my children. If that is a convenient location for you, she would be a good choice. Good luck.
