My first thought was that it was a lubrication issue, as I think someone else mentioned. The dryness is due to hormones and is usually worse when you are breastfeeding- try some k-y and/or give it a few more months.

Did you have a ceasarian section or normal vaginal child burth? I have not had that problem. My body bounced right back to its shape within a short time. You can do exercising, walking or doing kegel exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor. Talk with you doctor as well it seems unsual. Congratulations on you new baby. I'm sure you and your family are very happy. Have a wonderful day.

Just wondering if it hurts or just can't get it in/to stay in. I know this sounds gross, but have you checked your pelvic floor while taking a shower? I have a prolapsed bladder meaning it is pushing my bladder down on my uterine wall and I can actually feel it b/c it's close to the opening. I could not get one in either but went to therapy and she gave me a trick. Email if you want me to explain more about this condition!

The same thing happened to me. My husband and I could have sex just fine with no pain, but when I was on my period and tried to put in a tampon, it hurt TERRIBLY! And I would've had to force it in. That was almost 4 years ago and I haven't worn a tampon since.

When you had your baby did you have any tearing? I had a 4 degree tear with my last child and it took awhile before I could use a tampon. I only use them when I take my children swimming or going to be in the car for awhile otherwise I just use pads. Hope this helped.

I had the same problem and it made me so mad. After about 3 years I started going to a different chiropractor that was really intune to making your body balanced and he has made it so I can now wear tampons. I did nothing different except the chiro. He has a new way of adjusting he does not pop and crack. I call it the poppie thing. I can't remember the name of it. It kind of taps or bumps and he puts it to your back and it just puts thing back in place. If you want I can call and ask him if you want to know more. My advise is to try a chiro.
