The front bearings are out in my car. The shop has quoted $500 for both. My co-workers husband works for Napa Auto Parts and said they could get the parts for $40 and do the work cheap. Ok, so great. lets go for it. Well, he keeps putting me off and putting me off. Turns out it's an issue, he never should've offered, his boss won't go for it, yadda, yadda, yadda. Ok, fine. Now, I had my heart set on getting it fixed for $100. No way I can convince myself to pay $500! so, anyone have a reccomendation for a much cheaper shop, or know a guy that knows a guy?
Danny's Auto in Mesquite is awesome. I know it isn't really close but he has never overcharged me and always EXTREMELY honest.
You should also just call around to several auto shops and ask for an estimate on replacing the front bearings. You might find 500.00 is not too bad or you could be surprised and find it way cheaper. Good luck!
Try Bill's Half Priced Auto Repair. (billshalfpriceautorepair.com) I know there are a few locations around town, just not sure if there is one in or near Grandprairie. They may be worth a call. On three occasions and three different cars their quotes were MUCH cheaper than any others we got. And we have all been really satisfied with their work.

They are integrity-driven, extremely competent, and they definitely put the customer first!
