I read so many great responces to a posting on gallbladder surgery, I am definately going to have the surgery but I no longer have insurance! The surgeon I saw said I have multiple gallstones, a marble sack, and the gallbladder must be removed. I just recently suffered from a painful attack which had me feverish, with pain in my back, very week and nausiated. It took a good 3 days to recover but I was laid up, missed work and too week to be any good for anything! I need to know how you ladies got through these painfull attacks??? I've been trying to stick to a vegitarian diet as recomended in an article I read on webmd.com, but I'm constantly hungry and crave the meats, breads and foods that can bring on the attacks, but that I love oh so much!
I've lost about 10lbs already in less than a month by changing my diet but I only weigh 140lbs, I don't want to loose more yet I certianly don't want to suffer through more attacks. As soon as I can have the surgery done I will, but for now I would greatly appreciate any advise on what to eat or do during the attacks, and what to eat or do to avoid the attacks..help please!!

What can I do next?

Hi R.,

Get this book A CURE FOR ALL CANCERS BY DR. HULDA CLARK, on page about 597, depending upon which printing you get, there is a step by step, hour by hour suggestings on how to get rid of stones painlessly.

I have done every cleanse in her book, 2 times per year for the last 13 years. I have used this method, many times to keep my filter organs clean of waste matter.

You can get that book at any library, or through amazon.com
which is what I have the reading page hooked to.

www.creeksideherbhouse.com is my free teaching website. The reading page is where the list of books are, and the theory page is the outline of how the body works, and what it takes to correct conditions in the body.

Hope this helps

Happy New Year

Blessings to you and yours

I used to drink a glass of wine and get in a hot shower to help relax the muscles which were spasming. One word of advice: Don't wait too long for the surgery. An infected gall bladder can spread to the pancreas (it happened to a friend of mine, and we nearly lost her!). Pancreatitis makes gall bladder disease look like a walk in the park. Don't let this happen to you!

Morning R.;

#1 Get the surgery done now!!!
Here is how to do it! Go to the hospital business office and work out a payment plan with them and get all the cost
in advance!
Then work out a payment plan with the doctor!
By doing this in advance you will know what you have to pay and be able to handle it!
After you've had the surgery then check with Aetna or Bankers Life for their family plans!
Good Luck!

I kept a food journal of the things that did not make me sick, and I stuck with that. Believe it or not, you can still eat fast food. I ate wraps from chick-fil-a almost everyday, because they didn't hurt my stomach. So, try documenting what doesn't hurt your stomach and stick with it. Good luck!

Do not wait to have the surgery, I'm sure your doctor told you that waiting to have your gall bladder removed when it's so inevitable can also lead to issues w/the pancreas - pancreatitis (spelling) is life-threatening and YOU DON't want it! Work out some kind of payment plan w/the hospital and surgeon. There's also groups that will help you to pay for the surgery if you ask the social service dept at the hospital - don't wait, this is serious....the pain is your bodies way of saying - "GET THIS OUT OF ME"!

I suffered from excruciating attacks while pregnant, so there was nothing I could do about it until the baby was born. I ate a lot of salad as well as baked chicken &/or turkey, no skin. When I had the attacks I would juice it up!! My husband would run carrots & apples through the juicer & this seemed to help most of the time. If/when that didn't work, I would take Tylenol 3 w/codeine. On one occasion, my attack lasted for 7 hours!! I ended up in the ER with a morphine drip - the ONLY thing that helped with that one. I hope you get the surgery soon - I know I would rather give birth again & again then to EVER suffer through another gallbladder attack! Good luck & God bess!! H. B

I'm so sorry to hear about your attacks. I totally know the pain as I suffered them for over a year. Unfortunately the only solution is surgery and unfortunately these attacks will only get worse and more frequent. I was having severe attacks every day while waiting for my surgery date and thought i would die first. I don't mean to scare you because my case was very rare but once they went in to remove my gallbladder they found two tumors on my pancreas as well and if i didn't have the surgery i could have died from pancreatic cancer. as wierd as it sounds because pancreatic cancer is a silent killer, i believe God sent me those horrible attacks to allow me to be saved. anyway, maybe you could go to ben taub or another county hospital. the wait may be long and painful but worth it in the end. goodluck and i hope you get better very soon!

As far as preventing gallbladder attacks you need to stay away from any grease foods meats ect... Also take a multi vitamin to help with keeping a balanced diet. You will need to rest alot! I know I recently had gallbladder surgery. The attacks are horrible! I missed alot of work because of it. See if you dont qualify for public assistance of some sort. Unfortunately the attacks are going to get worse and more frequent. You need to get the surgery. Good luck

R. I know how painful those attacks are. My Doctors didn't diagnose it as gallbladder so I suffered for about a year and it felt like I was having a heart attack and continued to get worst. I was making approximately 2-3 visits a week to the emergency room and they told me it was anxiety, colon, and ulsers. At my last visit in, it had ruptured and they told me if I had not gone in when I did I would have died within 24 hours. Nothing to play with.

I realize that you don't have insurance as I didn't at that time either but it can be life threatening. If you can't afford insurance check into medicade and see if you qualify. If not, then you may have to go to a charity hospital to have the surgery. I hope this helps and if you have any questions, please let me know.

R.,

I am so sorry that you are enduring gallbladder attacks. I can definitely feel for you! I was pregnant with my oldest son when I had them and I was convinced there was an alien inside of me!! hahahaha

I am glad to see that you are going down the veggie path, but it is BORING!!!! but it is better when you are dealing with the gallbladder. Once you get the attacks under control you can start putting the other things back into your diet. You can't afford to lose any more weight, so suppliment with either Ensure or some Hi-pro smoothies, but get your calories up so you don't lose any more. I'm serious on that, because if you get too weak, it's going to take longer and longer to get over an attack.

Hopefully what I am about to tell you will help get the attacks under control and even stop them until you can get the surgery. (If you don't know yet, the attacks are caused by the stones getting stuck in the duct between the gallbladder and the pancreas) Ok, here is the magic cure that will help you...and you may gag, but here ya go...

BEETS - that's it - BEETS

It doesn't matter how they are prepared or how you eat them. Just eat them. I prefer them pickled and will eat them just about any style, but they need a little help so the flavor comes through.

**My sister in law has been dealing with her gallbladder for nearly 10 years with beets and still hasn't had surgery.** I'm not saying get it removed...no way.... get that thing out at your earliest available time. Just treat it so it doesn't keep kicking you in the butt.

Good luck to you. If you need any other info or "what if's", just give me a holler!!!
