Please help me find a pediatrician for my 2 and half month old daughter. We're new to the area and she needs to get all of her shots as soon as possible.

What can I do next?

If you live in the Suffolk/Northern Chesapeake area, we go to Suffolk Pediatrics and I have loved them. I know that the ped we see isn't accepting new patients but they recently have added at least 1 new person to the practice. Hope this helps!

I've been very happy with Dr. Downing at Kempsville Pediatrics. I don't know if they are taking new patients or not but they have always been very nice and my 12 year old LOVES Dr. Downing. I was going to take my infant there but it is more convenient to take her to the Tricare clinic since I work. Better hours to be seen. Kempsville Pediatrics has normal doctors hours. 9-5 M-F I think. The people are wonderful though and I've never had a problem with billing or getting an appointment. My 12 year old sprained her foot and they were very good about referring us to a radiologist for xrays to make sure it wasn't broken and following up with us about the results. They also call after an appointment to see how medication is working or is my child is feeling better.

If you live in Newport News, we love the Children's Clinic on Main Street between Warwick and Jefferson. We go to Dr. Broderick. Their phone number is ###-###-####.

If you are in the Peninsula area, I'd agree with Anne. We use Children's clinic on Main (or Denbigh). My kids see Dr. Griffiths, but Dr. Broderick is great too!

pediactric specialist ###-###-####, both of my girls have gone since birth. We typically see Dr. Frazer whom is just wonderful (she has three boys of her own and graduated first in her class) there are several other doctors in the group who are just wonderful as well. Hope that helps. Good luck to you and your new little one.

I have a 5 1/2 month old and he's been going to Pediatrics at the Beach in VA Beach. They are really great there. They have seperate sick and well entrances so that your healthy chid isnt surrounded by sick children and they are Very nice, you never ever wait long and if you have an emergency they are right there for you. i am also really bad about appointments and they send me a reminder in the mail so i dont forget. my son sees Dr. Vinson who is just great. they are on camelot drive which is right past va beach general on first colonial.

We see Pediatrics At The Beach. Been with them since my son was born (5 years now). What I like most about them is that they are always there for you and will take you in if it's an emergency. You should check them out. They are off of first colonial, near VB General in Virginia Beach. I'm not sure what area you're looking for.

I'm not sure what area of Hampton Roads you are living in, but I take my child to Dr. Livingood. She works at Pediatric Associates in Norfolk, out of CHKD. She is absolutely wonderful. She is very kind and gentle, and you can really tell that she loves and cares for children.
