I have found that Neosporin is the quickest at healing cuts. The actual name brand, not the store imitations. Good luck with that. Look on the bright side, better a cut than a pimple.
Hey ladies, I as my 5-year-old would say "nailed myself" on Sunday on my chin. Literally nailed my chin right in the middle with my own thumbnail while defending myself from a pillow attach by my daughter. It is a cut. A true cut. The size of my thumbnail and about 3mm wide. I have been putting straight E-oil on it since it happened.
Is there anything I can do to have it healed (or as close as I can get!) by Thursday when I go out of town (for the first time in YEARS without kids)? I'm suppose to be having fun with my husband in Quebec and I wanted to look fabulous for him. . . and now I have a gash in my chin! Waaaaaaaaaahhhhh!

Neosporin or New Skin. NO BANDAIDS! The cuts heal so much faster without them.
I have actually found that Neosporin and a small bandaid overnight for two or three nights will heal just about any facial sore. Leave it open to the air during the day. I had a huge sore from a pimple and a group picnic in the same week. I figured it's supposed to heal cuts faster so why not a zit? After only two nights of this my sore was a light pink and hardly noticable. I would recommend using a bandaid with very little stick to it or you might get a pimple of your own. Clean the area in the mornings with a little alcohol to be sure. Good luck Hon
I was going to put in my two cents worth for neosporin, which I find really gets healing underway as fast as anything I've tried. But I see Melissa beat me to the punch, so I'll just second that!
Neospeoren OR A&D ointment works just as well. A & D ointment is great at helping heal as quickly as neospeoren. Good Luck & have fun!!
